وصف المقرر
The oxford English for careers nursing II book covers different topics and involves the language used in a variety of nursing contexts, such as admission by A & E, admission by referral, pharmacy, and obstetrics. The book is designed to meet the language needs of nursing students who learn English to use it for communication in a specific professional situation. It focuses on developing the four language skills (e.g. speaking, listening, writing and reading) as well as grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.
أهداف المقرر
After successful completion of this course, students will develop a confidence in using English language through constructing different grammatically correct sentences both in oral and written modes. In addition, students will deliver oral presentations and receive feedback on their performance. Students will also improve their reading fluency skills, enhance their listening skills, enlarge their vocabulary, strengthen their writing ability and improve their pronunciation skills.
