Establishment Announcement:

The Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Department was established at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him) under University Order No. 849 dated March 12, 2022. It serves as a crucial link between the workforce sector and the university by preparing students to enter the job market in both the public and private sectors, as well as private projects. The department provides methodological approaches in the economic and administrative aspects for employers while enhancing students' capabilities and skills through specialized training programs. These programs, aligned with modern educational developments, adopt innovative employment methods by providing qualified and distinguished personnel for all required specialties in the job market.

 

Responsibilities of the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Department:

  1. Training and preparing students for the job market through specialized workshops in their fields.
  2. Assisting and coordinating in the employment of graduates by communicating with private and public sector companies to find employment opportunities that match their academic and training experiences.
  3. Coordinating and preparing job fairs in collaboration with private and government companies to connect with them and present the elite graduates.
  4. Monitoring graduates after employment, identifying strengths and weaknesses in their performance, and submitting periodic reports to their respective faculties for curriculum adjustments according to the job market requirements.
  5. Conducting essential courses for humanities and scientific faculties on improving job performance, work ethics, resume writing, and workshops on common English terms and personal interview techniques.
  6. Organizing complementary enrichment workshops to change societal misconceptions about job reliance, promote entrepreneurship among various societal groups, and encourage students to initiate their own projects.

Strategy of the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Department:

Continuously study the needs of the job market to keep abreast of changes affecting employment opportunities for graduates from the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him). Based on this study, develop a comprehensive training program to prepare university students for the job market.

- Meet the ambitions and requirements of the public and private sectors for competent university personnel in humanistic and scientific fields, catering to both genders.

- Contribute to reducing the unemployment rate among graduates, integrating them into the job market, and improving their job productivity.

- Develop and qualify personal and scientific skills of students and graduates, setting ambitious and realistic goals. Support and qualify graduates to present and manage small projects.

- Provide specialized programs in fields required by the nature of available jobs in various sectors to enhance competitiveness in the job market.
