Seeking to  create a scientific academic entity accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and aims to prepare qualified staff specialized in all fields of knowledge to meet the needs of the community and the requirements of sustainable development and social responsibility and interaction with the community and the sincere desire to provide the society with competencies characterized by scientific and moral superiority and away from  physical and commercial considerations and provide excellent  scientific and research services

The Directorate of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine (AS) sought and through the Department of Higher Education to find the University of Warith Alanbiyaa (AS) on an area of ​​forty-eight acres and with the participation of the Strategic Projects Department where the university constructed university buildings to the north of old city on the road of Karbala –Baghdad and for a short period of not more than 5 months. The university was inaugurated at its four faculties (Administration and Economy, Engineering, Law and Nursing) on ​​21/9/2017 in a ceremony holds at the university with the support of the legitimate patron of the Directorate of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine and in the presence of Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Abdul Razzaq Al-Issa and the Secretary-General of the Directorate of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, Said. Jaafar al-Musawi, and with the participation of the local government in Karbala, a number of officials, and religious, academic, cultural and media personalities, as well as  the contributors to the completion of this great edifice

This educational facility is required to be characterized in everything that is unique and qualitative, both the teaching process on one hand, or the services provided within the university to the students first and to the scientific staff supervising them on the other hand to parallel in a complementary way all efforts to provide the best services and privileges to both sides within the university
