This laboratory is concerned with conducting laboratory tests for construction materials as well as laboratory tests for cement, concrete materials and aggregates (sand and gravel) and these tests are very necessary to enable the student to know how to mix materials with each other and in certain and accurate proportions and to know the problems facing him in the event that the materials are not mixed according to the specified proportions and appropriate standard conditions that lead to the success or failure of the sample and the extent to which it conforms to the technical specifications or not.
