Dear colleagues and students, I extend our warmest congratulations and best wishes on the start of the new academic year-  2023-2024.

Our faculty and staff are committed to achieving academic excellence in various fields of research and study.

We are confident in the ability of our students to succeed and reach their academic and professional goals. We encourage active participation in cultural and research activities, as well as fostering relationships with scientific institutions and community service programs to positively impact the scientific and social environment.

We are dedicated to enhancing the college's infrastructure to provide a modern and advanced learning environment. We ask our students to take their academic journey seriously and to strive for excellence in all they do. We appreciate the hard work of our professors and administrators and encourage students to respect their efforts in ensuring academic success.

Success should not be the end goal, but rather the pursuit of excellence. We thank the entire college team for their significant contributions and responsibility towards God and the nation. I am honored to welcome you to the College of Media at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (Peace be upon him). This splendid place combines rich history with a contemporary spirit in the field of media.

At our university, we believe in the power of media to shape the future, and we strive to empower students to become leaders and pioneers in this dynamic field. The College of Media at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (Peace be upon him) is committed to delivering exceptional educational programs that blend theory with practical application. Our experienced and professional academic team provides robust support to students, helping them develop skills in the evolving world of media. We encourage critical thinking and innovation, providing students with opportunities to explore various aspects of media work through programs covering different facets of journalism.

Our goal is to enable students to become creative and influential leaders in their communities, transferring knowledge and experience to the new generations of journalists and content creators.

The College of Media at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (Peace be upon him) comprises two departments:

 

  1. Digital Media Department:

This department offers an opportunity to explore the world of digital media in all its intricacies, from digital marketing to media data analysis, enabling students to engage with the latest technologies and trends in digital media.

  1. Public Relations Department:

This department focuses on developing effective communication and social interaction skills, covering crisis management in media to organizing public events. This specialization will empower students to build strong and effective relationships in the business world.

Peace and blessings be upon Abu Al-Qasim Muhammad ibn Abdullah, the noblest of all creation, and his family.

The College of Engineering is a private college affiliated with the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa. It was established in 2017 and comprises three departments: Biomedical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineering. Our goal is to produce competent engineers who possess both theoretical and practical knowledge in their field.

Our faculty members hold advanced academic degrees and our engineering and administrative staff are experienced and skilled in guiding students towards success and development. Our college has various specialized scientific laboratories, engineering workshops, and advanced programming systems to enhance students' skills and capabilities.

We plan to open new scientific departments in the future to meet market needs and contribute to the reconstruction and revival of our country.

In conclusion, our college strives to keep up with the latest scientific and technological advancements and we are committed to producing competent engineers who can contribute to the development of our country.

Since the establishment of the College of Nursing at the University of Wraith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him) in 2017, it has shouldered a significant responsibility towards community health. The college aims to build and prepare highly competent nursing staff through its academic and training programs for students. It aims to acquire necessary skills and knowledge based on solid scientific foundations in the field of nursing sciences, to prepare a generation of university-level male and female nurses capable of contributing to the advancement of the nursing profession in healthcare institutions and providing high-quality services through university-level education methodology.

The college has derived its comprehensive plans from the strategic goals set by the university. The college aspires to be one of the leading nursing colleges nationally and regionally, in the development of nursing sciences and scientific research, as well as contributing to community service through the application of the scientific curriculum and providing an exemplary educational environment that contributes to the development of the nursing profession.

The college directs a significant portion of its attention and focus towards the importance of conducting sound applied scientific research by its teaching staff, and dedicates the results of these research endeavors towards meeting the community's needs and addressing its problems on a prioritized basis for all categories, thus achieving sustainable development.

The College of Islamic Sciences in Brief

The College of Islamic Sciences was established with a commitment from the Presidency of the University of Wraith Al-Anbiyaa and the College's Dean to promote Islamic Sharia in theological, moral, and legislative fields. It also aims to represent it practically in reviving humanity and society.

Our college specializes in the study of Islamic sciences within multiple departments, which currently include the Department of Jurisprudence (Fiqh) and its Principles, and the Department of Quranic Sciences. It attracts students from preparatory schools, offering both morning and evening programs.

College Objectives

The college endeavors to prepare a group of scholars and researchers in Islamic sciences to study Sharia through academic methods. In this regard, our college seeks to achieve the following objectives:

  1. -Prepare a group of individuals who strive to bridge the academic and social gap between religious seminaries (Hawza) and academic universities.

  2. -Prepare social and religious reformers who are dedicated to guiding society and enriching it with religious teachings and concepts, disseminating them among all social strata through the qualifications provided by the college.

    -Train academic faculty for preparatory schools and universities

  3. -Prepare qualified religious experts to work in courts as specialists in their respective fields to oversee the Sharia aspects of legal judgments issued by judges.

College Aspirations

The College's leadership aims to open new departments in addition to the existing ones, such as the Department of Jurisprudence (Fiqh) and its Principles and the Department of Quranic Sciences. While it initially focused on these two departments at the undergraduate level during its first year, it aspires, in the coming years, to open admissions to other departments and at higher levels, including master's and doctoral degrees. This is in pursuit of reviving the sciences of Sharia in all areas, including intellectual, theological, comparative religion, Arabic language, and Hadith studies.

Our college's mission arises from the vision of the university, which focuses on blending the practices of learning, development, and scientific research with Islamic values and the message of the Ahlul Bayt (peace be upon them), as well as ethical principles of work. This mission aims to cultivate a scholarly generation of graduates capable of contributing to society's advancement, facing challenges, and achieving developmental goals with high professionalism. Our college's educational and research activities center around administrative and economic sciences, which play a crucial role in various aspects of life, particularly in countries like our beloved Iraq that aspire to development and change.

The College of Management and Economics prepares graduates for positions in administrative and accounting fields by developing and supporting academic programs that align with contemporary workplace challenges. We are also dedicated to creating and providing rich learning environments for our esteemed students and faculty members that encourage learning, teaching, and uphold rigorous research standards.

Our college's objectives extend beyond scientific development to include the enhancement and support of fundamental infrastructure, cultural development, and a team spirit that facilitates career advancement and job satisfaction, creating opportunities for a better life for our students, faculty, and staff. Additionally, the College of Management and Economics serves the community and government and non-governmental institutions by expanding fundamental scientific knowledge and developing specialized personnel.

University of Wraith Al-Anbiyaa stands as a towering beacon of knowledge, drawing its inspiration from the principles of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him). These principles have left a profound impact on our hearts, and preserving them requires the embodiment of ethical and academic values in every aspect of life.

Life is continuous, and its evolution is fundamentally linked to knowledge. Effective knowledge can only be attained through the advancement of universities as a whole. The national model for outstanding scientific development is exemplified by the University of Wraith Al-Anbiyaa, with its esteemed colleges. Among them, the College of Law serves as the scholarly and legal front, in conjunction with other law colleges across the country. Since its establishment, the College has progressed by utilizing advanced educational and training programs, as well as cutting-edge scientific curricula. This progress is also due to the distinguished teaching staff composed of specialized professors with a wealth of experience in the field of law.

Dear students, I am always filled with happiness when I address you with my words, for you are the treasure of our beloved nation, responsible for building its prosperous future, God willing. Belonging to the College of Law at the University of Wraith Al-Anbiyaa represents the legal beacon that guides the way to justice. The shortest path to heaven  and the farthest from it is the medical  service.

Our honorable teachers, our dear students, in medicine, the two essences meet, the essence of the continuity of life and the preservation of health, and the essence of human service, which presents a wonderful picture if science is mixed with wisdom and modernity.

Let the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Warith Al-anbya be a symbol of modern medicine and be a pioneer in obtaining indicators of international accreditation and a wonderful model for the embodiment of this divine blessing in the service of society, the individual and the family. I invite you to employ all capabilities for the success of the process of producing a doctor who is highly professional, with integrated knowledge and skills of quality, knowledge of cultures, medical content and the modernity of medical sciences.

Strengthening institutional affiliation, especially to our institution of a religious and a scientific nature, and clarifying and introducing the world, at all national and international levels, to the content of the scientific process that is run in this institution will be the secret of everyone’s success.
