Objectives
The College of Islamic Sciences was established at the University of Heir al-Anbiya (peace be upon him) as one of the pioneering projects of the Holy Shrine of Hussein. This college officially became affiliated with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The College of Islamic Sciences was established to promote Islamic law in the doctrinal, moral, and legislative fields, as well as its procedural representation of the revival of man and society. .

Our college specializes in studying Islamic sciences within the framework of several departments, and it is currently the Department of Jurisprudence and its Principles and the Department of Qur’anic Sciences. It attracts middle school graduates, both at the morning and evening levels.

The duration of study at the College of Islamic Sciences is four years, after which the graduate is awarded a bachelor’s degree in Islamic sciences. The graduate is prepared to work in all educational institutions as a teacher of Islamic education. He can also complete postgraduate studies in the specialty of Qur’anic sciences, jurisprudence, and its principles.

Information Technology Department:

The Information Technology department stands out by providing programs that respect rapid developments in this advanced field. The department focuses on equipping students with skills in software design and development, IT infrastructure management, and solving complex technical problems. The department aims to produce experts in the field of Information Technology capable of interacting with modern challenges.

Medical Physics Department:

The Medical Physics department adopts an integrated approach that combines a deep understanding of physics with its application in the medical field. The department trains students to use physical techniques in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. The program includes the study of medical principles, medical imaging techniques, and medical devices. The department aims to prepare graduates who combine medical knowledge with a profound understanding of physics to enhance patient care.

The College of Media at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (Peace be upon him) was established in 2023 AD with the aim of providing modern media capabilities and skills to the Iraqi job market, keeping up with technological and technical advancements worldwide. In its founding year, the college introduced the Digital Media Department, which focuses on acquainting students with contemporary media and refining their skills through lectures that keep pace with advancements, as well as educational resources, laboratories, and studios for hands-on training in digital media content production.

The Faculty of Nursing is one of the faculties of Warith Al-Anbiyaa University, which seeks to meet the needs of health institutions in Karbala City in particular and Iraq in general, by preparing nursing staff with scientific and practical competence.

Since the establishment the Nursing Faculty at Warith Al-Anbiyaa University (peace be upon him) in 2017, it has carried a great responsibility towards the health of the community in building and preparing highly qualified nursing cadres through its academic and training programs for students. Also, acquiring the necessary skills and knowledge based on solid scientific rules in the field of nursing sciences to prepare a generation of university nurses who are able to contribute to the development of the nursing profession in health institutions and provide high-quality services through the methodology of university education. The college has derived its major plans from the strategic objectives set by the university, where the college aspires to be one of the leading nursing colleges nationwide  and regional levels in the development of nursing sciences and scientific research and participation in community service through the application of the scientific curriculum and the provision of a model educational environment that contributes to the development of the nursing profession.   In that matter, the college directs a large part of its attention and focus on the importance of conducting authentic applied scientific research by its faculty members. And dedicating the outcomes of the research towards meeting the society needs and treating its problems according to priority for all groups and achieving sustainable development.

Background of the Faculty

The  Nursing Faculty at Warith Al-Anbiyaa University was established in 2017 as one of the pioneering projects of the Al-Husseiniya Holy Shrine. This Nursing School officially became affiliated with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the idea of establishing this faculty was the need to found an advanced scientific edifice that meets the needs of health institutions in Karbala City in particular and nationwide in general. This faculty aims to prepare nursing staff with high scientific and practical qualification  consistent with scientific and technical technological development and commensurate with the need to Providing advanced health services that enhance and maintain the health level of the individual, family and society as well. The Nursing Faculty includes seven scientific branches: (Nursing Fundamentals, Adult Nursing, Maternal and Newborn Health Nursing, Pediatric Nursing, Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing, Community Health Nursing and Basic Sciences Branch) The duration of study in the College of Nursing is four years, after which the graduate is granted a bachelor's degree in nursing sciences, and the graduate is prepared to work in all health institutions

 Administration and Economics College considered to be as one of the colleges of Warith Al-Anbiyaa University in its two departments (Management and Accounting - Business Administration), which is concerned with graduating distinguished scientific students whom are qualified enough to engage in all fields of institutional work.

The graduates Law School obtains a bachelor's degree in law that qualifies them to be lawyers with high experience in understanding the legal text and defending their clients according to the sound legal vision as the students are qualified to enter the judicial institute if other requirements are met to be a judge or prosecutor. In addition, the students receive theoretical lessons in scientific research that enable them to be researchers to make them qualify enough to obtain a master's degree or doctorate in the future.

College of Law adopts a theoretical and applied studies of the curricula prepared by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, taking into consideration the comparative legislation of Arab and foreign countries and Islamic jurisprudence (Faqah) for a period of (4) academic years, to graduate a legal lawyer with diverse sciences and a high capacity in scientific research that qualify them to occupy multiple job positions.  The College of Law was established in 2017 and specializes in the study of legal sciences in two departments of public and private law.
