The fifth and (17th) annual international scientific conference of the College of Information at the University of Baghdad, sponsored by the University of Heir al-Anbiya.

The Dean of Media at the University of Heir al-Anbiya (peace be upon him), Dr. Muhammad Jamal al-Tayf, confirmed the words of the representative of the supreme religious authority, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi al-Karbalai, when he said (The impossible can be possible and the possible becomes a tangible reality) which has become a vision for the University of Heir al-Anbiya (peace be upon him).
Al-Tayef said in his speech during activities during the fifth and annual (17th) international scientific conference of the College of Information at the University of Baghdad, which was held under the title (Media and Communication Technology and their Role in Promoting Dialogue Among Civilizations) and which is held under the auspices of Warith University. Prophets (peace be upon him), “First of all, thanks and gratitude must be expressed to the presidency of the University of Baghdad, the dean of the College of Information, and the administrative and technical teams.”
And teaching, for their fruitful efforts and their tireless efforts to support and direct the scientific research movement and to bear the burdens of holding this important conference in terms of its topic, time, place, goals, and expected cognitive repercussions.”
 
He added, "We are pleased, as the presidency of the University of Heir al-Anbiya (peace be upon him) and the dean of the College of Information, and we are in the shadow of the Holy Shrine of Hussein and its continuous support, to be an integral part of this great scientific event, and even one of its makers and sponsors, along with entities known for excellence in the contemporary Iraqi scene."
He added, "Our meeting today, in this scientific edifice, represents a valuable opportunity to embody a deep conviction that the media does not only represent the voice of the present, but rather is a bridge that extends across time and space, carrying the message of understanding and rapprochement between nations and peoples," noting that "the media in our time have proven Today, it is more than just a carrier of news and information, but rather a powerful tool that can build bridges of communication between different cultures and civilizations. Through the media
We can break down barriers, overcome stereotypes, open up to others, and promote the values ​​of tolerance and mutual respect.”
He stated, "We live in a world full of challenges and crises, and in order to be able to confront them, we must believe in the power of dialogue and communication."

The Faculty of Mass Communication at the University of Heir al-Anbiya (peace be upon him) signs a scientific agreement with the Faculty of Mass Communication at the University of Dhi Qar
The Dean of the College of Mass Communication, Dr. Muhammad Jamal Hussein, signed a scientific agreement with the Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communications at Dhi Qar University, Professor Dr. Hadi Falih Hassan.The agreement included a set of academic topics and programs, including the exchange of scientific visits and the writing of joint research between professors of the two universities, in addition to performance evaluation, scientific supervision, and student training programs.

The Faculty of Information at Warith al-Anbiya University is studying twinning with its international and local counterparts

The Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication, Dr. Mohamed Al-Tayeb, revealed that the Faculty of Mass Communication at Al-Warith University received many requests to conclude agreements and twinning.
He explained that these colleges are affiliated with universities from inside and outside Iraq, and some of them have advantages and are known for their quality and capabilities
Attributing the failure to reveal its names or the countries to which it belongs to the fact that the college is carefully studying these requests and seriously to establish twinning or conclude agreements in a manner consistent with Iraqi law and the university’s principles, principles, and strategic plans.

A series of field trips for students of the Faculty of Mass Communication begins with the university’s flags

The College of Mass Communication began preparing its students for cognitive field tours with a visit to the people of the university’s advertising department. This was stated by the Dean of the College, Dr. Muhammad Al-Tayef. He added that the college’s plans include field tours to various media outlets in order to familiarize the student with their work, tools and methods, and learn about the practical skills of those institutions.
Pointing out that the second course will include repeated visits to radio and television media and informing students of how to harmonize and combine traditional and new media in the same institutions.
Noting that the aim and goal is for the student to have the motivation and courage to begin entering the field of media from its broadest doors, which is digital, even before graduating from college.

Design programs are accessible to every student in the Faculty of Information

The Dean of the College of Information, Dr. Muhammad Al-Tayeb, confirmed that the College of Information provided its students with a practical laboratory for using design programs and other programs on the computer.
He explained that the first programs that the student begins working on in the first stage are office programs of all kinds and preliminary design programs, the most important of which is Photoshop.
Pointing out that the College of Information, according to the directives of the university presidency, is concerned with the practical field of students and seeks to provide all necessary requirements.

The University of Heir al-Anbiya (peace be upon him) affiliated with the Holy Imam Hussain Shrine announced the establishment of the College of Media, which was included in the student guide for the current academic year 2023-2024, indicating that the college included the departments of digital media and public relations.
The head of the Department of Media and Public Relations at the university, Dr. Muhammad Jamal Latif, said in an interview with the official website, “Within the development plan adopted by the University of Heir al-Anbiya (peace be upon him) for the current academic year (2023-2024), the College of Media was created, which includes two departments, namely digital media and relations.” Public,” pointing out that “the college has actually been included in the student guide for the current year issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.”
He explained, "This step came to support the media in Iraq and create a specialized academic media generation to serve the country."
He added, "The application and acceptance mechanism takes place through the private education platform located on the platform of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and from now on the application doors have been opened to receive students wishing to study in this college for the new academic year."
It is noteworthy that the University of Heir al-Anbiya (peace be upon him) affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Hussein has created many new departments this year in the scientific and academic aspects, and this step is being taken to support the educational sector in the country.

This specialization is considered one of the new specializations due to the need of the global and Arab market for it, after digital media became dominant in the media market, and the reliance on (digital) media by television and radio stations in various countries of the world and the spread of social networking sites in an unprecedented manner.

2- Radio and television stations
3- Private websites belonging to government institutions and companies. Every institution or company has a website that needs someone to manage this website, as the field of work is very broad and complex.
