The Critical Care Lab in the College of Nursing is equipped with the latest equipment and educational tools necessary to create and simulate a critical care unit environment. This includes high-fidelity human patient simulators, digital video, bedside computer charting, and electronic supply and static mannequins. The lab also provides a space for debriefing, reflection, and critical thinking exercises, allowing students to review their decisions and actions and motivating them to provide the best possible care. In addition, the lab allows students to conduct practical assessments to enhance their patient assessment and critical care management skills.
