Under the direction of the Dean of the College of Science, Dr. Shaimaa Hussein Nofal, and the Head of the Information Technology Department, Dr. Haider Mohammed Ali Al-Ghanmi, the Information Technology Department organized a workshop titled “Blended Learning.” The workshop was presented by faculty member Dr. Ahmed Yahya Awad to the faculty members of the College of Science. The workshop covered several key topics:
- The first topic defined blended learning as a term used to describe education that combines e-learning and traditional teaching methods to create a new methodology in education called blended learning.
- The second topic explained that there are several types of blended learning offered in Iraqi universities, including face-to-face learning, rotation, flexible learning, and other forms of education.
- The third topic highlighted the importance of blended learning, noting that it is more efficient as it improves the effectiveness of the entire educational process and helps make the educational process easier.
