Morning Studies:
The student must submit the following documents to the nominated entity:
- The original high school certificate authenticated by the Directorate General of Education or an endorsed grade statement, along with a written pledge to register at the college.
- Three colored copies of the Iraqi civil status ID or the unified national ID for the student, the mother, and the father.
- Six recent photographs.
- Medical examination form.
- The student must be born in 1994 or later.
- Students born in 1990 with an average score of 90% or above.
- The student must dedicate themselves solely to their studies and cannot combine employment with studies (simultaneously) for all state institution employees.
- Students cannot combine two studies simultaneously; if discovered, the student's admission will be canceled.
Application Regulations for Channels:
- Martyrs' Relatives:
- Applicable categories include relatives of victims of the dissolved Ba'ath regime crimes, relatives of the Popular Mobilization Forces martyrs, and relatives of war and military error martyrs, in addition to the wounded under Law No. 57 of 2015 (only the injured).
- The tuition fee for these categories is 50% of the tuition fee for each department.
- An additional 5 points are added to the GPA of applicants to medical groups (general medicine, dentistry, pharmacy).
- An additional 8 points are added to the GPA of applicants to other specialties.
- The special form for martyrs' relatives must be filled out and reviewed by the Martyrs Foundation for validation.
- Students must check their account daily to ensure the activation of the martyrs' relatives channel and confirm their registration in the college/university through this channel.
- Political Prisoners:
- Applicable categories include prisoners, political detainees, and Rafha detainees who were imprisoned, detained, or held under the former Ba'ath regime.
- The student is admitted with a difference of 3 points below the minimum announced averages in the guidebook, and their admission is exclusively in evening studies.
- Determination of eligible students is exclusively by the Political Prisoners Foundation.
- Students must check their account daily to ensure the activation of the political prisoners channel.
- Media Students:
- The student must be born in 1994 or earlier.
- Talented individuals in media and its skills who have 10 years of service in recognized media institutions can apply through the media professionals channel. This applies exclusively to graduates of all vocational studies branches, teachers' institutes, and fine arts institutes.
- Students who graduated from Islamic studies, religious schools (Shiite and Sunni endowments), and tourism and hotel institutes for the academic year 2019-2020 and earlier are not eligible to apply through this channel.
- The service of the student must be endorsed by the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, the Iraqi Media and Communications Commission, or the Iraqi Media Network after endorsement by the media institutions where they work.
- Students apply through the electronic form after activation by the Journalists Syndicate.
- Students must check their account daily to ensure the activation of this channel.
- Law No. 15 of 2016 Students:
- Applicable categories include members of the armed forces, internal security forces, National Intelligence Service, National Security Service, Popular Mobilization Authority, Counter-Terrorism Service, and other security agencies.
- Admission is exclusively in evening studies.
- Police Commissioners' Institute graduates are admitted only in evening studies and in humanities colleges.
- Accepted students must adhere to the specified attendance quota.
- Accepted students in this channel are not allowed to transfer to morning studies.
- The Ministry of Interior confirms the endorsement of the Senior Undersecretary's approval of the non-objection of the student's affiliated entity for evening studies and the non-objection of higher authorities for other categories.
- Eligible individuals from vocational high school graduates can apply for evening studies.
- Eligible individuals with a technical diploma can apply for evening studies.
- The student's admission is through the electronic portal of the Private University Education Department.
- The Top 30% of Graduates with a Diploma:
- Acceptance of graduates from institutes with similar specialties.
- Calculation of the top 30% for each specialty separately, rounding up the number to the student's benefit.
- The student cannot combine study and employment in morning studies.
- Social Welfare Beneficiaries:
- Applicable categories include the student or one of their parents (father or mother) who have a record in the Social Protection Authority's records.
- The tuition fee for these categories is 50% of the tuition fee for each department, applicable only to evening studies.
- Quran Memorization Students:
- Applicable to all high school graduates.
- The student admitted under the Quran memorization channel is exempted from tuition fees.
- The student must undergo an annual verification test by a specialized international committee issued by the Ministry of Higher Education to ensure continuous memorization of the Quran. Failure to pass the test results in the cancellation of the tuition fee exemption.
