استقبل رئيس قسم تكنولوجيا المعلومات، الأستاذ المساعد الدكتور حيدر محمد الغانمي، وأعضاء هيئة التدريس في القسم، م م كرار صادق الغاضري وم م نبيل صادق عبد العباس، طلبة كلية علوم تكنولوجيا المعلومات في جامعة كربلاء، برفقة رئيس القسم الدكتورة مها التميمي وأعضاء هيئة التدريس.تضمنت الفعالية استعراضاً لأحدث تقنيات تكنولوجيا المعلومات المستخدمة في جامعة وارث، بما في ذلك المحاكاة وطباعة النماذج ثلاثية الأبعاد (3D)، وزيارة مركز البيانات الرئيسي في الجامعة، والتعرف على البرمجة الخاصة بأنظمة جامعة وارث عليه السلام. تأتي هذه الفعالية ضمن جهود الكلية لتعزيز التعاون العلمي والتقني بين الجامعات وتبادل الخبرات والمهارات التكنولوجية.

Seminar on Cyber Extortion and Its Penalties in Iraqi Law

The College of Science at the University of Warith organized an awareness seminar titled "Cyber Extortion and Its Penalties in Iraqi Law," presented by Mr. Abdul Razzaq Majid and Mr. Hussam Muzher. The seminar targeted the students of the College of Science, addressing various topics related to cyber extortion and how to legally confront it. During the seminar, the presenters explained the nature of cyber extortion and its various forms, with a focus on how individuals can protect themselves from falling victim to this type of crime. The legal provisions in Iraqi law regarding cyber extortion and the penalties imposed on offenders were also reviewed. The seminar also included discussions on how to enhance legal awareness among young people and the university community, and the importance of cooperation between relevant entities to curb this phenomenon. This seminar is part of a series of academic activities aimed at promoting legal culture among students and protecting them from electronic risks.

Awareness Seminar on Questioning in the Quran

The College of Science at the University of Warith organized an awareness seminar on the topic of questioning in the Quran, presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammad Abdul Hadi Shakir. The seminar targeted the students of the College of Science, where Dr. Shakir discussed the various dimensions of questioning in the Quranic texts and how it can be an instrument for deepening understanding and faith. The seminar included discussions on the importance of questioning as a means of learning and acquiring knowledge, and how the Quran encourages posing questions and reflecting on its verses. Dr. Shakir also addressed examples of questions found in the Quran and how we can benefit from them in our daily lives. This seminar is part of a series of academic activities aimed at enhancing religious and scientific awareness among students and developing their abilities for critical thinking and contemplation in sacred texts.

The role of university institutions in guiding and educating students about the meaning of substandard content and avoiding its disadvantages

The College of Science at Warith Al-Anbiyaa University organized a scientific symposium titled "The Role of University Institutions in Guiding and Educating Students About the Meaning of Substandard Content and Avoiding Its Disadvantages." The symposium was presented by Prof. Dr. Montaha Abdul Zahra Al-Azzawi from the College of Education at Al-Mustansiriyah University and Asst. Lecturer Safa Abdul Hussein Al-Rikabi from the Ministry of Education. This workshop aimed to empower students to consciously deal with digital content, providing them with the tools to avoid its drawbacks and build a positive digital future.  

A cultural symposium titled Building University Identity and Its Foundations

At the direction of the esteemed Dean of the College of Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Shaimaa Hussein Nofal, the College of Science at Warith Al-Anbiyaa University organized a cultural symposium titled "Building University Identity and Its Foundations," presented by the Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, Assistant Professor Dr. Talal Al-Kamali. The symposium targeted the college students and highlighted the importance of university identity and its role in enhancing academic and cultural values among students.
