Department of Electrical Engineering Techniques Organizes Educational Visit to Karbala Solar Power Station
The Department of Electrical Engineering Techniques at the College of Modern Technologies, under the sponsorship of the College Deanship, organized an educational trip for its students to the Karbala Solar Power Station. This initiative is part of the department's efforts to strengthen students' practical skills and connect the theoretical knowledge they acquire in classrooms with real-world applications in the field.
During the visit, students gained firsthand insight into the operating mechanisms of solar energy systems and the stages of energy conversion, as well as the station's operational management and workflow. They also had the opportunity to learn about the latest technologies adopted in the renewable energy sector, providing them with a valuable chance to broaden their scientific understanding and observe live applications of what they study theoretically.
This educational trip reflects the College of Modern Technologies' ongoing commitment to developing students' scientific and practical skills, preparing them to meet the evolving demands of the job market, particularly in the fields of sustainable energy and modern technologies, which are witnessing rapid growth both locally and globally.
