Warith Al-Anbiya University qualifies its staff for program accreditation through a specialized training course

Under the auspices of the Dean of the College of Modern Technologies at Warith Al-Anbiya University/Al-Naqeeb Complex, a specialized training course entitled "Program Accreditation for Newly Established Colleges and Departments" was held. The course was presented by Dr. Hussein Al-Ghanimi and saw wide participation from administrative and teaching staff. The course was attended by deans, assistant deans, department heads, and members of the quality and accreditation committees at the College of Modern Technologies, along with representatives from the Colleges of Dentistry, Pharmacy, Computer Science, and Information Technology. This collaborative effort aimed to enhance the culture of academic quality and meet accreditation requirements according to national and international standards. The course covered key topics, most notably the mechanisms for preparing accreditation files, measuring learning outcomes, documenting academic activities, the requirements of the National Council for Higher Education Accreditation, and ways to develop the educational environment according to standards of academic rigor. The Dean of the College emphasized the importance of continuing such training programs to improve the readiness of newly established colleges and support the institutional accreditation process. This course aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically Goal 4, which focuses on ensuring quality education through the development of the academic system and its outcomes. It also supports Goal 8, which aims to build a qualified workforce capable of leading institutional work professionally, and Goal 17, which emphasizes fostering effective partnerships among colleges to achieve quality and accreditation standards. This course aligns with the goals of sustainable development, as it embodies Goal 4 in ensuring quality education through the development of the academic system and its outcomes.  

AI Technologies Workshop

The Department of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Engineering at the College of Advanced Technologies launched an intensive workshop titled "Your Journey in the World of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence," aiming to immerse students in an applied engineering environment that keeps pace with global digital transformations. The workshop included comprehensive training modules, beginning with an introduction to the workings of robotic systems, followed by hands-on practical application using Arduino and Raspberry Pi microcontrollers. The sessions also focused on upgrading programming skills through the use of advanced artificial intelligence tools such as ChatGPT and GitHub Copilot, which contributed to enhancing students' engineering thinking and their ability to build innovative, real-world models as a team. This event reflects the department's vision of supporting the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship), by providing modern technical education that prepares young people for the job market and promotes opportunities for sustainable economic growth and technological innovation.

Specialized Training Course for Students of the Radiology and Nuclear Medicine Technologies Department

Sponsored by the College of Modern Technologies at Warith Al-Anbiyaa University and in cooperation with Siemens, a specialized training workshop was conducted for students of the Radiology and Nuclear Medicine Technologies Department, focusing on the latest technologies used in modern medical imaging and radiological diagnostic systems. The workshop included: An introduction to digital radiography devices and their operating mechanisms. Training on the fundamentals of operating MRI and CT scan systems. Application of radiation safety standards within laboratories and healthcare institutions. Exposure to the latest smart systems used in medical diagnosis. Bridging academic knowledge with practical applications adopted in modern healthcare institutions. The course aimed to develop students’ practical skills and enhance their readiness for the labor market through collaboration with leading international companies in the medical and technological fields. برعاية كلية التقنيات الحديثة في جامعة وارث الأنبياء وبالتعاون مع شركة سيمنز، تم عقد ورشة تدريبية متخصصة لطلبة قسم تقنيات الأشعة والطب النووي، ركزت على أحدث التقنيات المستخدمة في التصوير الطبي الحديث وأنظمة التشخيص الإشعاعي. تضمنت الورشة: مقدمة عن أجهزة التصوير الشعاعي الرقمي وآليات عملها.التدريب على أساسيات تشغيل أنظمة الرنين المغناطيسي والأشعة المقطعية.تطبيق معايير السلامة الإشعاعية داخل المختبرات والمؤسسات الصحية.التعرف على أحدث الأنظمة الذكية المستخدمة في التشخيص الطبي.جسر الفجوة بين المعرفة الأكاديمية والتطبيقات العملية المعتمدة في المؤسسات الصحية الحديثة.هدفت الدورة إلى تطوير المهارات العملية للطلاب وتعزيز جاهزيتهم لسوق العمل من خلال التعاون مع الشركات الدولية الرائدة في المجالات الطبية والتقنية.

College of Modern Technologies Hosts Comprehensive Training Workshop on SIS Management and Academic Integration

The College of Modern Technologies, in strategic collaboration with the Department of Registration and Student Affairs, recently conducted an intensive training workshop designed for the university’s newly established colleges to enhance digital administrative workflows. The session focused primarily on the Student Information System (SIS), providing a comprehensive guide on student enrollment protocols and ensuring full compliance with ministerial requirements. Key modules of the training included the technical process of finalizing academic records for the second semester, managing the enrollment of referred (carried-over) students, and the systematic creation of course modules for both the first and second semesters across all academic levels. Furthermore, the workshop detailed the mechanisms for linking students to their respective curricula, the secure distribution of login credentials, and the procedures for modifying academic data to maintain system accuracy. This initiative underscores the university's commitment to digital transformation and administrative excellence, ensuring that all departments are equipped to provide a seamless and modernized educational experience.
