Including Undergraduate and Graduate Studies... The University of Warith Al-Anbiya (peace be upon him), affiliated with the Hussaini Shrine, plans to open a Department of Auditing and Control, the first of its kind in Iraq

The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Warith Al-Anbiya (peace be upon him), affiliated with the Holy Hussaini Shrine, announced that the university council has approved the opening of a Department of Auditing and Control at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. This is in line with the educational vision of the Hussaini Shrine and its interest in developing higher education to serve the public interest. The Dean of the College, Dr. Awwad Al-Khalidi, stated in an interview with the official website: "During a meeting of the University Council of Warith Al-Anbiya (peace be upon him), affiliated with the Holy Hussaini Shrine, the opening of the Department of Auditing and Control at the undergraduate and graduate levels was approved." He added, "The creation of this department aligns with the vision of the Holy Hussaini Shrine for developing higher education, its focus on educational aspects, and its interest in establishing colleges that serve the public interest. It also coincides with the vision of the Ministry of Higher Education for establishing new academic programs and colleges." He clarified that "the department’s staff is available within the college and has extensive experience in this specialization, which will contribute to graduating specialized and distinguished students in the field of auditing and control." It is worth noting that the University of Warith Al-Anbiya (peace be upon him), affiliated with the Holy Hussaini Shrine, is dedicated to developing scientific and technical fields, keeping up with the latest global developments, and transferring important experiences for the benefit of the public.

A scientific visit for students from the College of Administration and Economics to the Iraq Stock Exchange

In implementation of the memorandum of cooperation between the Iraq Stock Exchange and the College of Administration and Economics at Warith Al-Anbiya University (peace be upon him), The Accounting Department organized a scientific visit to the Iraq Stock Exchange, headed by Dr. Hiba Allah Mustafa Al-Sayed Ali, Head of the Accounting Department, accompanied by M. Dr. Hummam Abdul Abbas Al-Khafaji, responsible for the Student Activities Department, and M.M. Haidar Nasser Hussein Al-Miyali, a lecturer in Financial Statements Analysis. Dr. Hiba Allah Mustafa Al-Sayed Ali said: A presentation and an extensive lecture were given about the establishment of the Iraq Stock Exchange and its trading mechanisms, company listing conditions, and financial statement analysis of a listed company. Students from the Accounting Department gained knowledge in financial analysis and explored the different sections of the market, how investors open accounts, and the mechanisms for buying and selling operations. The stock market is considered one of the pillars of modern economics, moving away from centralized control in resource management and project financing, and contributing to the capital formation of Gross Domestic Product.

Serious steps to sign a scientific agreement with the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas at the University of Basra.

A delegation from the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Warith Al-Anbiya (peace be upon him), headed by the Associate Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Fahd Mugeimish Al-Shammari, visited the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas at the University of Basra for Oil and Gas. The delegation was received by the Dean of the college, Professor Dr. Sami Obeid Al-Tamimi. The delegation discussed ways to open scientific cooperation and the possibility of signing a scientific agreement and partnership with the Department of Oil and Gas Economics at the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, due to the importance of this department in supporting the oil sector.
