The College of Administration and Economics Organizes a Visit to the Al-Warith Shelter of the Holy Hussaini Shrine

As part of its humanitarian community activities and to bring joy to the hearts of children, the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Warith Al-Anbiya (peace be upon him) organized a humanitarian visit to the Al-Warith Shelter, affiliated with the Holy Hussaini Shrine. Dr. Heba Allah Mustafa, Chair of the Accounting Department, stated: "We received many requests from students in the Accounting Department to organize a volunteer humanitarian activity, and the Al-Warith Shelter was chosen. The students purchased gifts and prepared for the visit. We were warmly welcomed by the shelter's supervisor, who thanked us for this initiative aimed at supporting the children both morally and materially." Dr. Mustafa added: "This activity had a very positive impact on our dear students, who requested that such visits to the shelter and other places be repeated. We, in turn, will continue to organize such humanitarian visits, as part of the university's role in serving the community through humanitarian service, which has a positive effect on everyone’s hearts." It is worth noting that the General Secretariat of the Holy Hussaini Shrine has many institutions dedicated to humanitarian work, providing services at a high level of care and free of charge.

A scientific visit for the students of the College of Administration and Economics to the Iraq Stock Exchange.

In implementation of the memorandum of mutual cooperation between the Iraq Stock Exchange and the College of Administration and Economics / University of Warith Al-Anbiya (peace be upon him), the Department of Accounting organized a scientific visit to the Iraq Stock Exchange, headed by Dr. Heba Allah Mustafa Al-Sayed Ali, Chair of the Accounting Department, accompanied by Assistant Professor Dr. Hammam Abdul Abbas Al-Khafaji, Head of the Student Activities Department, and Assistant Professor Haider Nasser Hussein Al-Miyali, Lecturer of Financial Statement Analysis. Dr. Heba Allah Mustafa Al-Sayed Ali stated: "A comprehensive presentation and lecture were provided on the establishment of the Iraq Stock Exchange, its trading mechanisms, the conditions for listing companies, and the financial statements of one of the listed companies were analyzed in order to gain knowledge of financial analysis for the students of the Accounting Department. Additionally, the students were introduced to the sections of the exchange, the process of opening accounts for investors, and the mechanisms for conducting buying and selling transactions. The exchange is considered one of the pillars of the modern economy, moving away from central comprehensive control over economic resource management, financing projects, and contributing to the capital formation of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP)."

A visit by fourth-year accounting students to the company responsible for auditing the accounts of the Central Bank of Iraq.

Fourth-year students from the Accounting Department at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him), under the supervision of Dr. Talal Al-Jajaawi and Dr. Muhammad Abdul Ali, conducted an important field visit to the Iraq branch of Ernst & Young (EY), a global leader in accounting, auditing, consulting, and tax advisory services.   Ernst & Young (EY) is the third-largest accounting firm globally and is responsible for auditing the accounts of the Central Bank of Iraq as well as several oil companies operating in the country.   During the visit, students were introduced  auditing mechanisms and tax accounting methods. They also met with the company's director, partners, and several employees who provided a detailed explanation of the firm's activities. Serious steps to sign a scientific agreement with the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas at the University of Basra.

A delegation from the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him), led by the Assistant Dean, Dr. Fahd Maghaimish Al-Shammari, visited the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas at the University of Basrah for Oil and Gas. The delegation was welcomed by the Dean of the College, Dr. Sami Obaid Al-Tamimi. During the visit, the university delegation discussed ways to open avenues for scientific collaboration and the possibility of establishing a scientific agreement and partnership with the Department of Oil and Gas Economics at the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, given the significance of this department in supporting the oil sector.
