Transparency and Protection of Public Funds

The College of Administration and Economics at Warith Al-Anbiya University hosted a scientific workshop titled "Transparency and Protection of Public Funds," organized by the Ministry of Justice in collaboration with the Integrity Commission (Commission of Integrity). ​The workshop was attended by a number of academics, researchers, notaries (Kuttāb Al-Adūl), and directors of the Real Estate Registration Departments. ​The lectures were delivered by Ms. Fadila Abdul-Jabbar, Assistant Director-General of the Judicial Planning Department at the Ministry of Justice, and Mr. Mashriq Adnan Al-Ghazali from the Karbala Holy Integrity Investigation Office. Their lectures addressed the importance of enhancing transparency in governmental institutions, the role of regulatory bodies in protecting public funds, in addition to discussing the most prominent challenges facing the implementation of integrity principles in practical reality. ​Professor Dr. Awad Al-Khalidi, Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, also participated with a scholarly intervention that focused on the role of good governance in consolidating the values of integrity and sustainable development. ​The workshop concluded with practical recommendations emphasizing the necessity of integrated efforts between academic institutions and regulatory bodies to spread the culture of integrity and enhance community awareness regarding the protection of public funds.

Cyber Extortion: Risks and Prevention Methods

Warith Al-Anbiya University - College of Business and Economics is organizing a workshop titled "Cyber Extortion: Risks and Prevention Methods" on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, in collaboration with the National Security Agency, at 10:00 AM. The workshop aims to highlight the risks of cyber extortion, introduce its various methods, and present effective strategies for prevention. It will also provide practical tips on how to handle extortion cases and report them to the relevant authorities, with the goal of enhancing the protection of individuals and society from increasing digital challenges.

"Bolonia Process and its Implementation Mechanisms"

In compliance with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Continuing Education Center at the University of Warith Al-Anbiya (peace be upon him) launched a series of training workshops for the teaching staff involved in implementing the mechanisms of the "Bolonia Process" in the colleges and departments included in its application for the upcoming academic year 2024-2025. The second training workshop was held for the staff of the College of Administration and Economics, and was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Shaimaa Hussein Nofal, Dean of the College of Sciences.

A workshop titled: The economy in the shadow of conflict: how the flood of maximum affected the financial markets

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics Professor Dr. Awad Kazem Shaalan Al-Khalidi at the University of Warith al-Anbiyaa,the college organized a workshop titled: "The Economy Amid Conflict: How the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation Affected Financial Markets." Workshop Details: Presenter: Assistant Lecturer Ayat Mohammed Najm Workshop Topics: 1. The Palestinian cause and its impact on financial markets. 2. The effect of positive and negative news on financial markets. 3. Future trends in gold and oil prices. Summary: The Al-Aqsa Flood operation had a significant impact on financial markets, leading to substantial changes in the prices of gold and oil.
