The fourth-year accounting students from the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him), under the supervision of Dr. Talal Al-Jajjawi and Dr. Mohammed Abdul-Ali, conducted an important field visit to the Iraqi branch of Ernst & Young (EY), a global leader in accounting, auditing, consulting, and tax services.
Ernst & Young (EY) is the third-largest accounting firm in the world and is responsible for auditing the accounts of the Central Bank of Iraq, as well as several oil companies operating in the country.
During the visit, the students were introduced to the mechanisms of account auditing and tax calculation. They met with the company's director, partners, and several employees, who provided a detailed explanation of the firm's activities. The visit also included a tour of the company’s four departments, where the students reviewed examples of audited financial stateme
nts.
