The establishment of the College of Islamic Sciences with its three departments (Quranic Sciences, Jurisprudence and its Principles, Islamic Financial and Banking Sciences) went through several stages:
The first stage: The stage of forming the committee for the purpose of establishment:
Based on the university order No. (Q.M.B/123 on 2/14/2018), a specialized committee was formed for the purpose of establishing the College of Islamic Sciences, and the special committee was formed to establish the Department of Islamic Financial and Banking Sciences according to the administrative order No. (K.A.S/222 on 11/10/2020).
The second stage: The stage of the Ministry’s approval of the teaching staff of the College of Islamic Sciences in light of the book of the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa, which referred to the establishment of the College of Islamic Sciences. The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research specified in its books (T.H.A/Q 10589 on 6/27/2018) and (T.H.A/Q 10590 on 6/27/2018) and (T.H.A/Q 8833 on 7/15/2021) the teaching staff of the departments (Jurisprudence and its Principles, Quranic Sciences, Islamic Financial and Banking Sciences).
The third stage: The stage of approval to establish the college with its departments:
After the specialized committee for establishing the College of Islamic Sciences submitted and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research approved the teaching staff for the departments (Quranic Sciences, Jurisprudence and its Principles, and Islamic Financial and Banking Sciences), the Ministry approved the establishment of the departments (Jurisprudence and its Principles and Quranic Sciences) according to what was stated in its two letters (T.H./A.Q./15552 on 9/23/2018) and (T.H./A.Q./15553 on 9/23/2018) and the establishment of the Department (Islamic Financial and Banking Sciences) according to the letter numbered (T.H.A.Q./13852 on 11/24/2021).
