Professor Dr. Nawfal Al-Araji, the Administrative Assistant of the University of Warith Al-Anbia, visited the Deanship of the College of Islamic Sciences on Monday, November 3, 2024. He was received by the Dean of the College, Dr. Talal Al-Kamali.
During the visit, the two parties discussed several issues related to enhancing administrative cooperation between the college and the university, in addition to discussing the needs of the college and supporting its future plans to achieve academic and administrative goals.
Dr. Al-Araji praised the efforts of the college and its faculty members in providing a distinguished educational environment and keeping pace with administrative developments, stressing the university's continuous support for achieving success and excellence in various fields of academic work.
The College of Islamic Sciences holds a scientific symposium on "Mechanisms of Digital Transformation in Universities"
In cooperation with the Center for Continuing Education, the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Warith Al-Anbiya organized a scientific symposium entitled "Mechanisms of Digital Transformation in Universities" on Monday, November 3, 2025, in which Dr. Ali Karim lectured.
The symposium discussed methods of digital modernization in the educational system, and ways to employ modern technology to improve the educational process and achieve academic quality.
The symposium witnessed a wide attendance of professors from the College of Islamic Sciences, where they discussed the importance of digital transformation in raising the efficiency of academic work and enriching the university student experience.

2024/11/04Meeting of the Head of the Department of Quranic Sciences at the College of Islamic Sciences with the teaching staff
The Head of the Department of Quranic Sciences at the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Warith Al-Anbiya, Dr. Muhammad Al-Amri, held a meeting on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, with the teaching staff in the department to discuss a number of issues related to the progress of the educational process and the academic goals of the department.
The meeting addressed various topics related to ways to enhance the teaching and learning environment, in addition to discussing ways to support students and provide academic guidance that contributes to raising their academic efficiency.
Dr. Al-Amri also reviewed some of the new directives that the college seeks to implement, and stressed the importance of cooperation and continuous communication between teaching staff members to enhance the performance of the department.
At the end of the meeting, the importance of working in a team spirit to achieve the goals of the college and contribute to raising the level of academic education at the University of Warith Al-Anbiya was emphasized.
The first practical training activities for students in the virtual bank
The Department of Islamic Banking and Finance, at the College of Islamic Sciences at Warith Al-Anbiya University, hosted on Saturday, October 26, 2024, Professor Ahmed Qais Radeef, Director of the Islamic Bank of Iraq for Development and Investment, on a special visit to supervise the launch of practical training for students in the "Virtual Bank" project.
The visit included the start of implementing Islamic banking mechanisms and training students on banking tasks, as Professor Ahmed Qais Radeef provided direct supervision to guide students on the procedures and skills necessary to perform various banking jobs, which enhances their technical skills and provides them with practical experience that contributes to qualifying them for the labor market.
The event witnessed great interaction from the students and high enthusiasm to take advantage of this unique opportunity.
The event was attended by Dr. Jaafar Abdul Amir Al-Hussaini, Professor Lamia, and the Head of the Department of Islamic Banking and Finance, Assistant Professor Ali Karim, who praised the importance of this step, which is a precedent at the level of Iraqi universities in developing practical training in the field of Islamic banking and finance.

The Council of the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Warith Al-Anbiya held a meeting on Saturday, November 2, 2024, headed by the Dean of the College, Dr. Talal Al-Kamali, and attended by the heads of departments and members of the council.
The meeting discussed a number of important academic and administrative issues aimed at developing the performance of the college and improving the level of educational services provided to students.

The College of Islamic Sciences holds a course on "The Effect of Synonymy in the Interpretation of the Holy Quran"
The Continuing Education Center at the University of Warith Al-Anbiya, in cooperation with the College of Islamic Sciences, held a specialized scientific course entitled "The Effect of Synonymy in the Interpretation of the Holy Quran", during the period from October 27 to 29, 2024.
Dr. Muntadhar Shukr Khedr lectured in the course, with the aim of enhancing knowledge about the role of synonymy in a deep understanding of the interpretation of the Holy Quran.
The course targeted instructors at the College of Islamic Sciences, as it included a detailed study of the differences in opinions about synonymy at multiple levels, including words, sounds, and verses. It focused on the effect of this difference in the interpretation of Quranic texts, which contributes to broadening the participants' vision and deepening their research and intellectual skills in this important field.
Closing registration for the "Words of Light" project
The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Warith Al-Anbiya announced on Saturday, October 26, 2024, the closing of registration due to the completion of the number of participants in the "Words of Light" project, as 700 students and professors from various colleges were registered.
The project received wide acceptance from the academic community at the university, reflecting the keenness of students and professors to contribute to this distinguished work.
The project aims to enhance interest in the Holy Quran among students and academics, by writing the Quran by hand, in an experience that enhances the spirit of belonging and creativity.
The college thanked all registrants and confirmed its aspiration to organize similar future projects that provide additional opportunities for participation.
Note that the workshops on how to write the Quran will be held from 11/5/2024 to 10/25/2024.
The Quran will also be written on the day of the Prophet's mission, 1/29/2025, God willing.
Lecture on Student Discipline Instructions within the Educational Institution
On Saturday, October 26, 2024, the Educational Guidance and Psychological Support Committee at the College of Islamic Sciences organized a lecture entitled "Student Discipline Instructions within the Educational Institution", presented by His Eminence Sheikh Jassim Shamkhi, targeting students and faculty members.
The lecture was held from 9:45 to 10:45 am in the auditorium of the Al-Ali building, and aimed to enhance understanding of the rights and duties of students inside and outside the educational institution.
His Eminence Sheikh Shamkhi discussed the instructions for discipline and the behavior that must be followed by students, highlighting the importance of preserving the educational environment and respecting its property and the people working in it.
The attendees interacted remarkably with the lecture, and participated in discussions about the role of discipline in improving the learning experience and supporting a positive relationship between students and the institution.
An introductory visit for the students of the College of Nursing about the "Writing the Qur'an" project

The members of the "Words of Light" project for writing the Holy Qur’an in students' handwriting held a meeting with Professor Dr. Amjad Ali Abdul-Kazem Salman, Head of the Digital Media Department at the College of Media, on Tuesday 10/22/2024, in the presence of Dr. Muntadhar Shukr and Dr. Abbas Adnan.

On Monday 10/21/2024, the Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, Dr. Talal Al-Kamali, delivered an intellectual lecture to the students of the College of Medicine in the "Al-Naeem Building". The project aims to involve professors, students, and employees at the University of Warith al-Anbiyaa (PBUH) in writing the Holy Qur’an in their own handwriting, as training workshops for this project will be held between 11/5/2024 and 11/25/2024. The Qur’an is scheduled to be written on the day of the Prophet’s mission, corresponding to 1/29/2025.
