We ask God to accept good deeds from us and from you, and to make it a blessed Eid for everyone, and may God bring it back to us and to you with goodness, wellness and blessings.
On this happy occasion, I invite you all to reflect on God’s blessings upon us and to continue serving the Holy Qur’an and Islam, and to grant us success in serving our country, and more diligence, progress, and scientific giving in service of the future of our beloved Iraq. A training course on modern payment methods at Warith Al-Anbiya University
Within the framework of fruitful cooperation between the Center for Continuing Education at Warith al-Anbiya University and the College of Islamic Sciences, a training course was launched on April 6, 2024 entitled “Modern means of payment and their role in revitalizing the economy.”
This session was attended by a group of distinguished professors at the college, and was presented by M.M. Lamia Saad Jawad, in the Council Hall of the College of Islamic Sciences at the university.
The course addressed important topics related to the latest payment methods and their positive impact on stimulating economic activity, which reflects the vision of the Center for Continuing Education in developing the capabilities of academic cadres and promoting scientific research in areas of global interest.
This course is considered an important step towards enhancing knowledge and developing skills in the fields of economics and trade, which contributes to supporting sustainable development and raising the level of academic work at the university.
We hope that these scientific efforts will be a step towards a better and brighter future in the field of education and economic development.

The first meeting of the members of the self-evaluation report writing team at the College of Islamic Sciences
The first meeting of the members of the team writing the self-evaluation report, in accordance with the programmatic accreditation standards for colleges of Islamic sciences, was held at Warith al-Anbiya University, College of Islamic Sciences. The meeting was hosted on Sunday, March 31, 2024, at 10 a.m.
A.M.D. Nour Mahdi Al-Saadi, Head of the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Division, presented a comprehensive presentation covering the standards for program accreditation in accordance with the guide issued by the National Council for Academic Program Accreditation for Colleges of Islamic Sciences in Iraqi Universities.
The tasks were divided among the team members, and a member was assigned to each axis, in preparation for starting writing the important report. A date has been set for the second meeting, which will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024, to complete the discussions and preparations necessary to prepare the report.

A scientific symposium entitled “The Impact of Psychological Problems on Teaching Performance of Islamic Sciences Subjects”
An important scientific symposium was held at the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Heir al-Anbiya, peace be upon them, under the title “The Impact of Psychological Problems on the Teaching Performance of Islamic Sciences Subjects.” This symposium was presented by A.M.D. Nour Mahdi Al-Saadi, on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at eight o’clock in the evening on the Google Meet platform.
The symposium witnessed active participation by college professors, as they expressed great interest in the symposium topic and its impact on teaching performance in Islamic sciences subjects.
The symposium focused on the importance of the psychological well-being and behavioral stability of teachers in the field of Islamic sciences, given the nature of these sciences that require deep understanding and practical application. The symposium asked how the psychological problems and behavioral disorders of the teacher affect his performance and its impact on students and recipients of knowledge.
The symposium emphasized the importance of matching words with action by professors of Islamic sciences, in order to achieve their missional goals and achieve the desired societal change, as the teaching staff plays a vital role in shaping and directing the thought and behavior of students and society in general.

Scientific symposium entitled “Media Rumble of Quranic Discourses”
The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Heir al-Anbiya, peace be upon them, held a scientific symposium entitled “Media Rumble of Quranic Discourses,” where the symposium was presented and analyzed by Prof. Firdous Hashem Ahmed, on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at eight o’clock in the evening, on the Google Meet platform.
The symposium witnessed active participation by a group of college professors and students who showed great interest in the topic of the Qur’anic discourse and its media impact.
The symposium addressed multiple aspects of the importance and uniqueness of the Qur’anic discourse, as the lecturer, A.M.D., explained. Firdous Hashim Ahmed said that the Qur’anic discourse does not follow a single pace, but rather changes in its methods and foundations, and this is due to the change in time, place, and audience receiving it.
The lecturer at the symposium highlighted that the letter and movement in the Holy Qur’an greatly affect the meaning and restore the informational buzz and the media function, as the Qur’anic discourse differs between the words “O Messenger,” “O Muzamil,” and “O Muddathir,” which reflects the diversity and multiplicity of functions. Information and communication carried out by the Holy Qur’an.
The symposium was characterized by in-depth discussions and detailed analyzes on the topics of the Qur’anic discourse and how it interacts with the public in multiple ways, which contributed to expanding the horizons of understanding and thinking among the attendees, and enhancing the scientific and cultural understanding of the Qur’anic discourses and their role in guiding and motivating souls.
This scientific symposium reflects the interactive and cultural spirit emanating from academics and intellectuals, and highlights the importance of critical thinking and cultural interaction in understanding and analyzing the Qur’anic discourse and applying it to contemporary reality.

Al Ain Foundation honored Dr. Talal Faiq Al Kamali, Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, with the Foundation’s shield in appreciation of his efforts and continuous support for the Foundation’s activities.
This honor came on Monday, March 25, 2024, emphasizing the prominent role played by Dr. Al Kamali in supporting and enhancing the Foundation’s initiatives.
Al Ain Foundation is considered one of the leading bodies in society with its contribution to the advancement of social and cultural issues, and this initiative comes as appreciation for the positive contributions made by Dr. Talal Al Kamali in promoting cultural dialogue and promoting human values in society.

A scientific symposium on “Focus and mental anchoring in the month of Ramadan” with the participation of the College of Islamic Sciences
Within the framework of cultural and scientific interaction between academics and intellectuals, the Madad Forum for Culture and Development, in cooperation with the College of Islamic Sciences, organized a scientific symposium entitled “Focus and mental anchoring...the month of Ramadan as a model.” The symposium was held on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Panorama Mall - 6th floor, at 9 pm.
The symposium was attended by a group of college professors and intellectuals, in addition to the Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, Dr. Talal Al Kamali, and was distinguished by a group of enriching cultural and scientific paragraphs.
In his lecture, Dr. Maher Hamid addressed the topic of “Focus and Mental Anchorage in the Month of Ramadan,” where he presented a distinguished discussion on the importance of focus and meditation during the month of Ramadan, and also reviewed the impact of this on the soul and spirit.
Holding such seminars comes within the efforts of the Madad Forum to enhance cultural dialogue and knowledge exchange between academics and intellectuals, and to enhance the values of cooperation and constructive interaction in society.

A workshop at the College of Islamic Sciences reviews the role of conceptual metaphor in understanding the Holy Qur’an
Under the guidance and support of the President of Warith Al-Anbiya University, Professor Dr. Ibrahim Al-Hayawi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, Assistant Professor Dr. Talal Faiq Al-Kamali, the College of Islamic Sciences at Warith Al-Anbiya University organized a scientific workshop entitled: “Establishing Deep Understanding - The Role of Conceptual Metaphor in Understanding The Holy Quran".
The lecture was delivered by Dr. Muntadir Shukr Khader Al-Bayati on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at 12:30 pm at the College Council headquarters.
The workshop addressed the concept of conceptual metaphor in understanding the Holy Qur’an, distinguishing it from classical metaphor, stressing its importance in deepening the understanding of the Qur’an and understanding the ideas and concepts it carries.
The workshop witnessed a distinguished attendance by faculty members and those interested in Islamic studies, where opinions and ideas were exchanged on the topic of the symposium and questions were directed to Dr. Al-Bayati.
This workshop comes within a series of scientific events organized by the college with the aim of enhancing knowledge and directing students and faculty members towards profound religious and scientific concepts.
