Purchasing food baskets in cooperation with poor and needy families
In cooperation with the Student Activities Department at the university, the Student Activities Department at the College of Islamic Sciences launched a volunteer campaign within the university to purchase food baskets in cooperation with poor and needy families. The campaign witnessed wide participation from college students and faculty members, who donated their financial contributions or participated in fundraising.
The mechanism for collecting donations and delivering them to the deanships or the student activities department at the university has been organized to ensure their distribution in an organized and effective manner. These joint efforts resulted in securing food baskets that were distributed to families in need, which contributed to alleviating the burden of living on many families during the holy month of Ramadan.
This campaign reflects the volunteer and solidarity spirit among members of the university community, and promotes human and social values that encourage helping others in difficult circumstances.

Report of the Student Activities Committee at the College of Islamic SciencesOn January 30, 2024, the Student Activities Committee at the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Warith al-Anbiya (peace be upon him) presented a comprehensive report on the activities that were implemented during the first semester of the 2023-2024 academic year.We are pleased to summarize this report as follows:1. The celebration of the Prophet’s birthday (10/1/2023): A joyful ceremony was held in honor of the occasion of the Prophet’s birthday. It was attended by students and professors and included religious and cultural activities.2. Scientific symposium on electronic blackmail (11/14/2023): The committee organized a scientific symposium that sheds light on the issue of electronic blackmail, in which specialists and interested students participated.3. A ceremony on the occasion of the birth of Lady Zainab (peace be upon her) (11/20/2023): A ceremony was held in honor of the birth of Lady Zeinab (peace be upon her), in which college students participated.4. The Garden of Prophethood Program (12/2/2023): A special program was organized to commemorate the martyrdom of Lady Zahra (peace be upon her), which included religious and cultural activities.5. A scientific trip for the students of the fourth stage (6/12/2023): A scientific trip was organized to the Holy Shrine of Kadhimiya and the Central Library of the Holy Shrine for the students of the fourth stage.6. Election of student representatives before the College Council (12/5/2023): The process of electing student representatives to represent them before the College Council took place.7. A ceremony honoring female students who wear the Islamic abaya (12/26/2023): A ceremony was held to honor female students who excel in wearing the Islamic abaya, and the ceremony was attended by a large number of students and teachers.These activities come within the framework of enhancing the religious and cultural spirit of students, and constitute a valuable addition to the academic environment.

The College of Islamic Sciences celebrates the birth of the Commander of the Faithful, Ali bin Abi Talib, peace be upon him, “Walid of the Kaaba”
On the occasion of the anniversary of the birth of the Commander of the Faithful, Ali bin Abi Talib, peace be upon him, the Deanship of the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Heir al-Anbiya (peace be upon him) held a joyful ceremony titled “Balid of the Kaaba.”
The ceremony took place in the Al Ali Building - Amphitheater Hall, on Monday, January 29, 2024, at 10 am.
The ceremony was moderated by Mr. Riyad Al-Saidi and M.M. Nour Al-Jubouri, and witnessed a mass presence of university professors and students.
The diverse and distinctive performances were part of the magic of the ceremony, as it included:1. Reading the Holy Qur’an: presented by the distinguished reader Moayad Al-Nasrawi.2. **Show a video about the blessed birth.3. **A lecture by Sheikh Jassim Al-Uqaili: On the virtues of the Commander of the Faithful, peace be upon him.4. A poem for the love of the Prophet’s family: presented by the poet Abu Muhammad Al-Mayahi.5. A cultural competition for students with prizes: It dealt with the biography of the Commander of the Faithful, peace be upon him.
The ceremony was an occasion to reflect and celebrate a great personality, in an atmosphere filled with joy and cohesion among university members.
