Administrative Structure of the College of Islamic Sciences
The administrative structure of the college consists of:
1- The Dean's Office
The Dean's Office has administrative departments and units in various specializations, as follows:
A- College Council:
The College Council is one of the most important administrative units linked to the Dean's Office, as it approves all decisions and recommendations issued by the Dean's Office. The Council consists of:
- Dean of the College as Chairman
- Assistant Dean as Member
- Head of the Department of Quranic Sciences as Member
- Head of the Department of Jurisprudence and its Principles as Member
- Head of the Department of Islamic Banking and Financial Sciences as Member
- Secretary of the Council as Member
- Representative of the teaching staff as Member
- Representative of the students as Member
B- Central Scientific Committee
The Central Scientific Committee is one of the important committees in the college that is directly linked to the Dean's Office and performs the following tasks:
- Preparing the annual scientific plan for the college.
- Approving the proposals for scientific research titles in the college when submitted by the sub-scientific committees in the scientific departments.
- Approving the proposals to amend the curricula and submitting them to the relevant committees
- Approving the titles of seminars, workshops, discussion groups and training courses.
T- Quality and Performance Evaluation Committee, this committee performs the following tasks:
- Follow up on general policies and their implementation to evaluate performance and ensure quality in all college units.
- Reviewing the college's strategy, mission and basic objectives and updating them in light of developments and new developments to develop and modernize the educational process.
- Studying the results of the annual performance reports of the deanship units and proposing appropriate development recommendations.
- Circulating the evaluation files received from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (the evaluation file for university performance, the evaluation file for senior leadership performance, the evaluation file for faculty members' performance, the evaluation file for employee performance, the evaluation file for higher education outputs and any future evaluation files) to the college's staff for evaluation.
C- Student Activities Committee, which performs the following tasks:
Preparing the annual plan for student activities in various fields.
Nurturing and enhancing students' sports, artistic and cultural talents
Contributing to supervising student reception and graduation ceremonies.
Holding artistic and cultural festivals in the college and enhancing cooperation with other colleges.
C- E-Learning Committee, which performs the following tasks:
- Supporting faculty members and encouraging them to activate e-learning systems.
- Raising awareness among faculty members and students about e-learning systems and technologies
- Preparing courses for faculty members and students on how to deal with electronic platforms in giving and receiving lectures.
- Preparing the names of instructors and students and their codes on the approved electronic platforms in lectures.
H- Continuing Education Committee, which performs the following tasks:
- Preparing the plan for training courses for faculty members.
- Working on preparing training courses for faculty members
K- Media and Documentation Committee, which performs the following tasks:
- Defining the importance of the college and its mission, and striving to build a positive image of it among the internal and external public.
- Publishing all news and advertisements related to the college, and facilitating the task of media professionals and journalists to obtain information related to it.
- Preparing and issuing bulletins, especially those related to the college's achievements and activities, and distributing them inside and outside the college.
- Preparing college news on its scientific and media topics for publication on the website, newspapers and magazines.
- Preparing and coordinating to hold activities and public seminars approved by the college and supervising their implementation.
- Media documentation of all college activities.
D- Student Discipline Committee, which investigates students who commit acts that violate the regulations of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and its laws issued to comply with the controls of universities and colleges.
