Workshop on "Global Water Crisis" raises awareness in the College of Islamic Sciences

As part of the interaction with important global issues, the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Warith Al-Anbiya (AS) organized a workshop entitled "Global Water Crisis" on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at 8:30 pm. The workshop was held via the Google Meet platform, and targeted students and faculty members of the college.

The workshop was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Tahseen Abdulrahman Al-Badri, and focused on analyzing and clarifying aspects of the water crisis, which is not limited to drinking water only.

Dr. Al-Badri provided details in the workshop about the causes of this crisis, and presented a comprehensive solution that includes government interventions at the local, regional and international levels.

The workshop also addressed the treatments that can be taken at the level of individuals and families to address this crisis. The importance of raising awareness among people was emphasized, through the presentation of awareness films and media programs.

The workshop is part of the initiatives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and is sponsored by the President of the University, Professor Dr. Ibrahim Al-Hayawi. It is supervised by the Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, Dr. Talal Faeq Al-Kamali.

This workshop comes within the ongoing efforts to raise environmental awareness and stimulate scientific thinking and research work on topics of interest to society and the world.
