Our Original Iraqi Tribes and Their Role in Societal Peace

A Discussion Seminar at Al-Warith University of the Prophets  Under the patronage of the university president, Professor Dr. Ibrahim Al-Hayawi, and supervised by the Dean of the College of Law, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Al-Sharifi, with the attendance of government, tribal, and community leaders from the holy city of Karbala, the College of Law organized a discussion seminar titled "The Role of Tribal Customs in the Implementation of the Law." During the seminar, Brigadier General Nasser Ali Mohammed Al-Nouri, Director of Tribal Affairs at the Ministry of Interior, along with several dignitaries and tribal sheikhs, emphasized the important role played by the noble tribes of Iraq in strengthening civil and societal peace. They discussed how tribal customs contribute to resolving and settling tribal disputes through legal and peaceful tribal methods, away from practices that violate the law.
