The President of Warith Al-Anbiyaa University, Professor Dr Ibrahim Al-Hayyawi, accompanied by a university delegation, conducted an official visit to the University of Baghdad, where he met with its President, Professor Dr Ala’a Abdul Hassan Al-Zubaidi, extending his congratulations on the occasion of assuming his new post.

The meeting explored prospects for scientific and academic cooperation between the two institutions, alongside discussions on developing partnerships in the fields of scientific research and knowledge exchange. These efforts aim to enhance educational standards and strengthen joint academic work between the two universities.

This visit comes within the framework of both universities’ commitment to expanding institutional collaboration and improving the quality of higher education, in alignment with Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education, through the support of academic and research environments. It also reinforces scientific partnerships in accordance with Sustainable Development Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals.

Both parties emphasised the importance of continued coordination and joint cooperation in support of the advancement of scientific and research progress across Iraqi universities.
