In the presence of the University President, Professor Dr. Ibrahim Saeed Al-Hayawi, and a number of local and international scientific and academic figures, the College of Medicine at Warith Al-Anbiya University (peace be upon him), in cooperation with the Iraqi Society for Cardiothoracic Diseases/Middle Euphrates Branch, and the British Society for Cardiothoracic Surgery, held the "First Warith International Conference on Cardiothoracic Diseases and Surgery." The conference was attended by a select group of physicians and specialists in the field of cardiothoracic medicine from around the world, and aimed to exchange knowledge and expertise on the latest innovations and technologies in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac and pulmonary diseases.

The conference program included scientific sessions and specialized workshops, in addition to lectures presented by leading physicians and scientists in the field.
