University of Warith Al-Anbyiaa Launches Free Linux Training Course to Enhance Students' Employability

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Warith Al-Anbyiaa, Professor Ibrahim Saeed Al-Hiyyawi, the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, in collaboration with the Arab Federation for Digital Empowerment, launched an intensive free training course on the Linux operating system. The programme welcomed 100 students selected from more than 200 applicants, in the presence of Dr Khalil Al-Tayyar, Advisor to the Holy Hussaini Shrine, and Dr Haider Al-Ghanimi, Dean of the College.

The course aims to develop students' skills in operating systems administration, cyber security, and digital infrastructure. It is designed to strengthen their technical expertise and prepare them to meet the demands of the modern technology sector.

This initiative reflects the University's commitment to investing in its students by equipping them with advanced practical skills that enhance their career readiness. It supports Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Sustainable Development Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth).
