Ministerial Committee Assesses Academic and Training Environment at the College of Medicine

The College of Medicine at the University of Warith Al-Anbyiaa welcomed a ministerial committee responsible for evaluating private medical colleges. The field visit aimed to assess the College's academic readiness and compliance with approved national standards and requirements.

The committee was chaired by Professor Ali Ismail Abdullah, President of Jaber Ibn Hayyan University for Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences. It included Professor Nizar Shawqi Baher, Head of the Scientific Council for Internal Medicine; Professor Mayami Abdul Hassan Ali, Head of the Scientific Council for Obstetrics and Gynaecology; and Professor Ghassan Ali Al-Qazwini, Dean of the College of Medicine at Al-Mustansiriyah University.

The visit included tours of teaching facilities, laboratories, and accredited teaching hospitals used for clinical training. Discussions with the College's administration also examined the alignment of its educational environment and infrastructure with ministerial requirements. These efforts aim to enhance the quality of medical education and clinical training.

The visit reflects the University's commitment to developing its academic and training environment. It supports Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) by enhancing the quality of medical education, and Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being) by strengthening clinical training and preparing qualified healthcare professionals.
