The student submits the following documents to the agency to which he is nominated:

 1.Morning study:

 

  • The original preparatory study document supported by the attestation of the General Directorate of Education or confirmation of grades, in addition to a written pledge to the college registrar.
  • 3 colored copies of the Iraqi civil status identity card or the unified national card for each of the (student - mother - father).
  • Recent photos (6).
  • Medical examination form.
  • The student must be born in 1994 onwards.
  • A student born in 1990 with a grade point average of 90% or above.
  • The student devotes his time to study, and it is not permissible to combine work and study (at the same time) for all employees of state institutions.
  • It is not permissible to combine the two studies, and if this is proven, the student’s admission will be cancelled.

 2. Evening study:

 

  • The original preparatory study document supported by the attestation of the General Directorate of Education or confirmation of grades, in addition to a written pledge to the college registrar.
  • 3 colored copies of the Iraqi civil status identity card or the unified national card for each of the (student - mother - father).
  • Recent photos (6).
  • Medical examination form.
  • The student must be born in 1994 onwards.
  • A student born in 1990 with a grade point average of 90% or above.
  • It is not permissible to combine the two studies, and if this is proven, the student’s admission will be cancelled.
  • Students continuing to study in the morning have the right to transfer to the corresponding evening study, and the College Council has the authority to do so.
  • Adopting the same announced university calendar for morning study.

 3. Submission controls on channels

 Families of martyrs:

  • The categories included are (families of martyrs of the dissolved Baath crimes - families of martyrs of the Popular Mobilization Forces - families of martyrs of war operations and military errors) in addition to the wounded within Law (57 of 2015), the wounded themselves only.
  • The percentage of tuition fees for the categories of this channel is 50% of the tuition fees for each department.
  • 5 marks will be added to the GPA of the student applying to the medical group (general medicine, dentistry, pharmacy).
  • 8 marks will be added to the GPA of the student applying to other majors.
  • Fill out the electronic form for the martyrs’ families and review the Martyrs Foundation for approval.
  • Follow up the student’s account daily to ensure that the Families of Martyrs channel is activated and to ensure registration in the private college/university on the Families of Martyrs channel.

 Political prisoners:

  • Categories included (prisoner - political detainee - Rafha detainees who were imprisoned, arrested or detained under the defunct Baath regime).
  • The student will be accepted with a difference of 3 grades from the minimum grades announced in the guidebook, and his acceptance will be exclusively in evening studies.
  • Determine the students included exclusively through the Prisoners Foundation.
  • Follow up the student’s account daily to ensure that the political prisoners channel is activated.

 Students from media professions:

  • The student must be born in 1994 onwards.
  • Talented people in the field of media and its skills who have 10 years of service in media institutions recognized by the competent authorities, exclusively graduates of all branches of professional study, teachers’ institutes, and fine arts institutes, are entitled to apply within the Media Professionals Channel.
  • Students who are graduates of Islamic studies, schools affiliated with the two endowments (Shiite and Sunni), and tourism and hotel institutes, graduates of the academic year (2019-2020) are not eligible to apply for this channel.
  • Attestation by the Journalists Syndicate, the Iraqi Media and Communications Commission, or the Iraqi Media Network to endorse the student’s service after being certified exclusively by the media outlets in which he works.
  • Students apply to this channel through its electronic form after activating it through the Journalists Association.
  • The student must monitor his account daily to ensure that this channel is activated.

 Accepting students according to Law No. 15 of 2016:

  • The students included are (members of the Armed Forces - Internal Security Forces - National Intelligence Service - National Security Service - Popular Mobilization Forces - Counter-Terrorism Service and other security agencies).
  • Acceptance of those included in the evening study exclusively.
  • Graduates of the Police Commissioners Institute are accepted exclusively in evening studies and in humanitarian colleges.
  • Admitted students must adhere to the specified quorum.
  • It is forbidden to host the accepted student on this channel to the morning study.
  • The Ministry of the Interior supports the approval of the senior undersecretary regarding the non-objection of the member’s party applying for evening study and the non-objection of the higher authorities for other categories.
  • Graduates of vocational preparatory studies included in this channel have the right to apply for evening studies.
  • Those included in this channel who hold a technical diploma are entitled to apply for evening studies.
  • The student is accepted through his application on the electronic portal of the Department of Private University Education.
  • The top 30% of institute graduates (holding a diploma).
  • Admission of graduates of institutes with the corresponding specialization.
  • Calculating the percentage of (30%) in first place for each specialization separately, with the number divided in favor of the student.
  • The student does not have the right to combine study and work in the morning.

 Free scholarship for the medical group (general medicine, dentistry, pharmacy):

  • Applying for the scholarship is exclusively through an electronic interface launched through the electronic portal of the Department of Private University Education.
  • Student data is uploaded to the system based on data from the Ministry of Education.
  • The student uses the exam number with the password to retrieve his data within the system.
  • The student must be a graduate of the preparatory study for the (scientific, biological) branch for the academic year 2023/2024 exclusively.
  • A student with an average of (96%) or above has the right to apply for ten (10) different options, and a student with an average of (93%) has the right to apply for (6) different options.
  • The student is subject to electronic differentiation according to the grades.
  • Checking documents for the privileges granted to students by private universities and colleges to compete for the free scholarship before electronic registration.
  • If the registration of the student accepted for the free scholarship is completed, his name will be blocked from the rest of the admission channels within the private education portal.

 Students covered by social welfare:

  • The categories covered are the student or one of his relatives (father, mother) who is registered in the records of the Social Protection Authority.
  • Fees are 50% of the tuition fees for each department for evening studies only.

 Students who have memorized the Holy Quran:

  • Includes all middle school graduates.
  • The student who is accepted into the channel for memorizing the entire Qur’an is exempted from tuition fees.
  • The student is subject to a test by a specialized international jury issued by the Ministry of Higher Education. The test is repeated annually at the beginning of each academic year to ensure his continued memorization of the Holy Qur’an. Otherwise, the privilege of exemption from tuition fees will be cancelled.

Application steps:

 

The first stage: creating the account

 

  • Download the application for the Department of Private University Education and enter the information.
  • Choose a username, password and phone number (the system verifies that they are not previously used).
  • The system takes a live photo of the student.
  • The system performs a scan of the unified national card (front side).
  • The system performs a scan of the unified national card (back side).
  • When the personal photo matches the photo on the national card, the two systems create the account.

 

The second stage: filling in the data

 

  • Use the application to begin the data filling process.
  • Log in through the student account that was created in the first stage.
  • Testing the types of students.
  • Enter the exam number.
  • Ensure data is correct.
  • Upload supporting files, if any.
  • Add the institute’s certificate, if any.
  • Enter the password.
  • Complete data documentation.
