In order to enhance scientific cooperation between the College of Engineering at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him) and the University of Technology in the capital, Baghdad, a delegation of teachers from the Department of Aircraft Engineering and Oil and Gas Engineering visited to discuss cooperation in all scientific and research fields in the service of the college’s students. The meeting focused on the importance of implementing the “Bologna Path” for the oil, gas and aircraft departments, which works to improve and revitalize the higher education system and determine appropriate plans for cooperation in this field, with an emphasis on the importance of placing the student at the heart of the educational story, and taking the important role in contributing to scientific developments.

A delegation from the Deanship of the College of Engineering at the University of Warith al-Anbiya (peace be upon him), headed by Assistant Professor Dr. Hussein Hadi Al-Awadi, visited the College of Engineering Technology - in the capital, Baghdad. They were received by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Nabil Jamil Yassin. The visit included discussions on ways to hold joint research workshops, enhance coordination to implement the Bologna process, in addition to preparing for the assessment exam for third and fourth year students, as well as preparing for the Creativity and Excellence Award. It was agreed to hold a joint workshop between professors of the two colleges, to enhance academic cooperation and exchange experiences.

The Scientific Assistant, Professor Dr. Waqed Al-Moussawi, and the Dean of the College of Engineering, Assistant Professor Dr. Hussein Hadi Al-Awadi, in the presence of the Director of the Al-Warith Center for Crowd Engineering Research, Assistant Professor Dr. Raouf Al-Moussawi, received a committee from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research with the aim of confirming the establishment of the Al-Warith Center for Crowd Engineering and Management Research. During the meeting, the center's management reviewed the procedures and activities completed by the university to establish and develop the center. This center is considered one of the distinguished research centers in the field of crowd engineering and management, as it serves all occasions across Iraq in general and the Holy Karbala Governorate in particular. At the conclusion of the meeting, the Ministerial Committee praised the efforts and procedures made by the university and the center’s management, confirming its acceptance of confirming the establishment of the center as a final step towards its activation.

Within the framework of the twinning agreement between the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him) and the University of Technology, the Aircraft Engineering Department in the College of Engineering organized a training visit to the University of Technology. The delegation included first-year students, accompanied by the department head and a number of engineers. The visit included viewing the engineering workshops and scientific laboratories of the Mechanical Engineering Department - Aircraft Branch, where the students attended brief lectures that dealt with the first stage laboratories and engineering workshops. The visit lasted several hours and achieved great scientific benefit, according to the opinions of the participating students. At the conclusion of the visit, an official joint report was signed between the heads of the two departments to determine the study subjects for the joint examination scheduled for the second stage students in the second semester.

The Department of Oil and Gas Engineering at the College of Engineering at Warith al-Anbiya University (peace be upon him) organized a scientific visit for the students of the second stage to the East Baghdad (Nahrawan) field of the Central Oil Company, which is operated by the Chinese company EBS, in the presence of the head of the department, Dr. Zia Khafif Khashan, and a number of members. Faculty.   The visit aimed to enhance the practical aspect of the students by linking theoretical concepts with practical applications in the oil industry sector. The visit included a field tour of the drilling tower in the oil field, in addition to an introductory session during which the processes of treating the extracted oil and the techniques of drilling oil wells were explained. The instructions and precautions that must be followed during drilling operations were also discussed, with detailed explanations of these procedures provided.

Second-year students in the Department of Aircraft Engineering at Warith al-Anbiya University (peace be upon him) conducted a scientific visit to Baghdad International Airport, with the aim of enhancing their practical knowledge and linking it to the theoretical aspects they are studying. The visit included a comprehensive tour of the various sections of the airport, with a focus on the Iraqi Airways website. The students learned about non-destructive maintenance (NDT) lines for aircraft parts, engine and wheel system maintenance lines, in addition to other details related to aircraft maintenance. During the tour, Iraqi Airways' expert aircraft engineers provided detailed explanations of the operating mechanisms of civil aircraft parts within the company's fleet. Aircraft such as the Boeing 737, Airbus A320, and the latest global air transport model, the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, were highlighted. This visit comes as part of a series of scientific activities organized by the department to enable students to gain direct field experiences and prepare them for the requirements of the labor market specializing in aircraft engineering.

The Biomedical Engineering Department held a scientific field visit to the exhibition of scientific results of graduation projects held in the Al-Khwarizmi College of Engineering building with all its departments, including the Biomedical Engineering Department.The department's students were informed of all existing projects, and the basic idea and working principle of each project were explained, in addition to their participation in scientific dialogues and asking their questions. A scientific visit for students of the Oil and Gas Engineering Department to the “Najaf Al-Ashraf Refinery”.The Deanship of the College of Engineering at the University of Heir al-Anbiya (peace be upon him) held a scientific visit for the first-year students in the Department of Oil and Gas Engineering to the Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf Refinery under the supervision of the department’s professors. This visit was to introduce the students to the engineering cadres specialized in the separation of petroleum derivatives.Detailed lectures were given on the chemical processes and techniques used in the refinery. They also had the opportunity to take field tours inside the refinery to closely watch the operations and understand how crude is converted into different oil products.
