Warith Al-Anbiya University discusses ways of scientific cooperation with the University of Technology During its visit to the University of Technology in Baghdad, the delegation of Warith al-Anbiya University (peace be upon him) discussed ways and possibilities of joint scientific cooperation between the two universities in accordance with Warith’s vision and future ambitions. The delegation was headed by Administrative Assistant Prof. Dr. Nofal Al-Araji and the membership of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Hussein Al-Awadi and Dean of the College of Law, Prof. Ali Al-Sharifi, and they were received by the President of the University of Technology, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Al-Ghabban and Prof. Dr. Hussein Hamid Karim, Assistant President of the Technological University for Administrative Affairs. The visit included discussing the signing of a memorandum of joint scientific cooperation between the two parties in the research and scientific fields, exchanging visits and academic expertise, holding conferences, scientific seminars and workshops, as well as preparing joint research and putting forward the idea of ​​creating a group of scientific centres. It is noteworthy that the University of Heir al-Anbiya (peace be upon him) is urging steps to keep pace with the sober educational reality by entering international works by concluding partnerships and twinnings with prestigious universities locally, Arably and internationally.

A delegation from Warith al-Anbiya University visits the University of TechnologyThe President of the University of Technology, Professor Dr. Ahmed Muhammad Hassan Al-Ghabban, received in his office a high-level delegation from the University of Heir al-Anbiya affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Hussein, headed by Professor Dr. Nofal Al-Araji, Assistant to the University President for Administrative Affairs.Dr. Hussein Hadi Hussein, Dean of the College of Engineering, and Dr. Ali Sahib Al-Sharifi, Dean of the College of Law, and from the University of Technology. The meeting was attended by the Assistant to the University President for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Hussein Hamid Karim, and the Director of the Department of Media and Public Relations, Dr. Sari Tahseen Rayshan. The two sides called for the establishment of a memorandum of understanding between the two universities in the field of developing scientific research for students, as well as establishing mutual visits between teaching bodies to benefit from scientific expertise, as well as working to establish research centers, developing marketing programs for students, and benefiting from all scientific and engineering laboratories that assist students in taking their exams.Especially for graduation research for preliminary studies, as well as postgraduate research, in addition to working to establish a center concerned with early detection of cancerous tumors, establishing an industrial incubator, and developing the Center for Strategic Studies. At the conclusion of the visit, the President of the University of Technology and the Assistant President of Warith al-Anbiya University exchanged shields in appreciation of the efforts made to make this memorandum a success in the coming days.

A scientific visit for students of the Oil and Gas Engineering Department to the “Najaf Al-Ashraf Refinery”.The Deanship of the College of Engineering at the University of Heir al-Anbiya (peace be upon him) held a scientific visit for the first-year students in the Department of Oil and Gas Engineering to the Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf Refinery under the supervision of the department’s professors. This visit was to introduce the students to the engineering cadres specialized in the separation of petroleum derivatives.Detailed lectures were given on the chemical processes and techniques used in the refinery. They also had the opportunity to take field tours inside the refinery to closely watch the operations and understand how crude is converted into different oil products.
