The Biomedical Engineering Department held a seminar entitled (Ventricular assistive devices, ventricular support devices), in which engineer Ayat Abbas Kazem lectured, in the presence of the head of the department, faculty, and engineers. The seminar included learning about the physiology and anatomy of the heart and blood vessels, and linking the medical aspect to the engineering aspect of blood flow through the vessels.Then move on to the types of diseases to which the heart is exposed and the medical devices associated with each disease, including ventricular assist devices specialized in enhancing the function of the left or right ventricle, or both, and contributing to pumping the amount of blood that the body needs.

The College of Engineering at Warith al-Anbiya University (peace be upon him) held a training workshop for new teachers, presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Hussein Hadi Al-Awadi, Dean of the College, in the presence of college staff. The workshop aims to enhance teachers’ skills in modern teaching methods and apply the Bologna Process, within the framework of the university’s ongoing efforts to develop academic performance and improve the quality of education.
