An expert from a British university provides a training course for the staff of the Faculty of Engineering As part of its serious steps to advance the scientific reality in the college The Deanship of the College of Engineering (one of the founders of the University of the Heirs of the Prophet, hosted Professor Hassan Al-Najm, Head of the Center for the Development of Construction Materials at Liverpool John Moores University, Britain, who presented a four-day training course in which he reviewed international experiences to benefit from them to be applied at the university in light of the rapid scientific developments in various fields and disciplines. The course also touched on the modern means used during the scientific and applied lecture, the modern means of evaluating and approving the final and semester questions in the curriculum, the graduation research guide and its evaluation. He presented three models to evaluate the three stages in the graduation research evaluation process..

"Modern construction methods that were used in transporting a train bridge in five days" in a scientific symposium at the University of the Heir of the Prophets The Department of Civil Engineering held a scientific symposium entitled (Modern Construction Technology Using Hydraulic Jacks Systems Rapid Bridge Replacement on 5 Days Timelapse), presented by the specialist in the design of steel structures and the design of concrete structures, Prof. Dr. Haitham Hassan Miteb Al-Daami from the University of Babylon. The seminar dealt with the use of modern technology and hydraulic crane systems for the rapid replacement of train bridges in 5 days, where Dr. Haitham Al-Daami was one of the invitees by the company implementing this technology in Germany to attend the stages of replacing the bridge and in turn transferred this experience to our university professors to benefit from it locally.
