The Scientific Assistant, Professor Dr. Waqed Al-Moussawi, and the Dean of the College of Engineering, Assistant Professor Dr. Hussein Hadi Al-Awadi, in the presence of the Director of the Al-Warith Center for Crowd Engineering Research, Assistant Professor Dr. Raouf Al-Moussawi, received a committee from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research with the aim of confirming the establishment of the Al-Warith Center for Crowd Engineering and Management Research. During the meeting, the center's management reviewed the procedures and activities completed by the university to establish and develop the center.

This center is considered one of the distinguished research centers in the field of crowd engineering and management, as it serves all occasions across Iraq in general and the Holy Karbala Governorate in particular. At the conclusion of the meeting, the Ministerial Committee praised the efforts and procedures made by the university and the center’s management, confirming its acceptance of confirming the establishment of the center as a final step towards its activation.
