The laboratory is generally concerned with conducting laboratory tests on construction materials (bricks, plaster, and tiles). These tests are necessary to enable students to become familiar with the properties of materials and methods of testing them, as well as to develop students’ abilities to make the right decision regarding rejecting materials in the event that they fail the test or accepting them in the event that they conform to the standard specifications for the test.
