The Secretary-General of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein (PBUH), Mr Hassan Rashid Jawad Al-Abayji, visited the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (PBUH), where he was welcomed by university president Professor Dr Ibrahim Al-Hayawi and members of the academic council. The visit aimed to review the university’s recent academic and research achievements and discuss future development plans.

Faculty members presented an overview of progress in areas such as infrastructure expansion, the integration of advanced teaching technologies, and notable successes in scientific research and academic development programmes. These efforts directly support Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) by promoting inclusive, innovative, and job-orientated education.

Mr Al-Abayji commended the university’s accomplishments and highlighted the Holy Shrine’s ongoing commitment to supporting higher education and scientific advancement in Iraq. He noted that the university’s vision aligns with the broader objectives of the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda, particularly in ensuring accessible and high-quality education for all.
