Professor Dr. Sudad H. Al-Obaidi has over 30 years of academic, research, and professional experience in Petroleum Engineering. He has served in several universities across Sweden, Russia, Iraq, and Kurdistan Region, holding positions as Professor, Associate Professor, and Lecturer.
His experience includes undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, PhD and MSc supervision, e-learning, academic program development, and scientific cooperation with industry.

He has an extensive academic and research portfolio focused on optimizing hydrocarbon recovery. His work is primarily centered on the complexities of Reservoir Engineering and Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR), where he has significantly contributed to the development of innovative recovery mechanisms for mature fields.
