A delegation from the Higher Ministerial Committee for Intellectual and Cultural Affairs in Universities, formed by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, visited the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (PBUH). The delegation was led by Prof. Dr. Haider Al-Tamimi and met with Dr. Talal Al-Kamali, Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences and a committee member.

The visit included a meeting with the custodian of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein (PBUH), during which discussions focused on strengthening partnerships between the ministerial committee, the Holy Shrine, and the university in cultural and academic domains. The discussions explored ways to enhance academic programmes and implement joint initiatives benefiting students and the broader community.

The debate emphasised the importance of fostering the cultural and intellectual identity of Iraqi universities, recognising the critical role of religious and academic institutions in building a cohesive and thriving society that contributes to comprehensive and sustainable development.
