As part of its staff training and professional development programme, the Centre for Continuing Education at the University of Warith Al-Anbyiaa, in collaboration with the University Diwan Affairs Department, organised a training course entitled "General Safety, Firefighting, and Fire Prevention". The course was delivered by Hussein Mandil, Head of the Civil Defence Unit.

The course covered the fundamentals of general safety, fire response procedures, civil defence principles, and risk prevention measures. Participants also received practical guidance on the different types of fire extinguishers and their correct use, enhancing staff preparedness for emergency situations.

This initiative reflects the University's commitment to developing the skills of its staff and promoting a culture of safety and prevention. It also supports Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being) by fostering a safe learning and working environment and raising awareness of safety practices.
