The Centre for Continuing Education at the University of Warith Al-Anbyiaa, in collaboration with the Department of Student Residence Affairs, organised an awareness workshop entitled "Drug Abuse and Its Impact on Individuals and Society" for student residence supervisors. The workshop was held as part of the Unified Training Programme for Social Research Activities for the 2025–2026 academic year.
The workshop was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Noor Mohammed Hashim Mohammed and addressed the health and social risks of drug abuse, as well as prevention strategies and ways to raise awareness of its dangers. It also highlighted the role of supervisors in promoting awareness and preventing harmful behaviours.
The workshop reflects the University's commitment to strengthening health and social awareness. It supports Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being) through drug prevention and awareness, and Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) by promoting knowledge and awareness within the university community.
