In a meeting between the President of the University of Warith Al-Anbyiaa, Professor Dr Ibrahim Saeed Al-Hayyawi, and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Bayt Al-Hikma, Dr Naim Al-Aboudi, Dr Al-Aboudi congratulated the University on its entry into the 2026 Shanghai Ranking’s Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS).

Dr Naim Al-Aboudi praised this academic and scientific achievement, considering it a reflection of the efforts made to strengthen quality, excellence, academic accreditation, and scientific research. He noted that this achievement represents a valuable addition to Iraqi academic institutions and wished the University continued progress and success.

The University of Warith Al-Anbyiaa entered the Shanghai Ranking for the first time in Energy Science & Engineering, achieving a global ranking of 301–400. This reflects the University’s efforts to advance its academic and research performance and strengthen its presence in international rankings.

The achievement also reflects the University’s commitment to supporting research and innovation, in line with Sustainable Development Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) through advancing knowledge, scientific research, and innovation in academic and technological fields.
