The President of the University of Warith Al-Anbyiaa, Professor Dr Ibrahim Saeed Al-Hayyawi, received Assistant Professor Dr Salam Jaafar Al-Asadi, Dean of the College of Tourism Sciences at the University of Karbala.

Dr Al-Asadi congratulated the University’s leadership, academic staff, and researchers on its entry into the 2026 Shanghai Ranking’s Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS) in Energy Science & Engineering, achieving a global ranking of 301–400, and wished the University continued academic progress and success.

This achievement reflects the University’s academic and research development, its focus on advancing scientific output, and its growing presence in international academic rankings.

The University’s global presence also reflects its efforts to support research and innovation, in line with Sustainable Development Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) through advancing knowledge, scientific research, and innovation in academic and technological fields.
