The President of the University of Warith Al-Anbyiaa, Professor Dr Ibrahim Saeed Al-Hayyawi, met with the Head of the Media Department at the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein, Engineer Abbas Asim Al-Khafaji, to discuss areas of joint cooperation between the Media Department at the Holy Shrine and the College of Media at the University.

The meeting concluded with an agreement to launch a joint Media Training Centre dedicated to developing the skills and professional expertise of media personnel through specialised training programmes that contribute to improving media performance and strengthening professional capabilities.

The establishment of the Centre forms part of efforts to expand media and training cooperation between the two sides, exchange expertise and knowledge, and provide opportunities to develop media skills by making use of the academic and professional capabilities of both parties.

This initiative aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by strengthening institutional partnerships and exchanging expertise and resources to support capacity building and create opportunities for sustainable cooperation.
