Honoring one of the heroes of the White Army at the White Army Martyrs' Ceremony

The Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein, in cooperation with the administration of the Medical City, held a memorial gathering for the martyrs of the COVID-19 pandemic in the hall named after the late Dr. Muhammad Ali Al-Sharifi. May God have mercy on their pure souls. On this occasion, a group of heroes from the medical profession who contributed to defeating the COVID-19 pandemic were honored. Among them was Dr. Riyadh Abdul Rasoul Al-Haniwa, a lecturer specializing in chemistry at the College of Medicine, Warith Al-Anbiya University. He served as a physician, monitor, follow-up, treatment, and volunteer, conducting the necessary tests to confront and repel this fierce enemy. Congratulations to Dr. Riyadh Al-Haniwa and his esteemed College of Medicine, Warith Al-Anbiya University, with best wishes for continued success and prosperity.

The Council of Elders of Holy Karbala honors the Dean and Professors of Al-Warith Medical College in appreciation of their efforts in ensuring the success of the educational process.

On a splendid evening, a delegation from Warith Al-Anbiya University visited the headquarters of the Council of Elders of Holy Karbala. The delegation consisted of Dr. Ibrahim Al-Hayawi, President of the University; Dr. Nawfal Al-Araji, Administrative Assistant; Dr. Waqid Al-Mousawi, Scientific Assistant; Dr. Ali Sahib Al-Sharifi, Dean of the College of Law; Dr. Ali Abdul-Saadoun Al-Ghazi, Dean of the College of Medicine; Dr. Laith Muhammad Abbas, Assistant Dean; Dr. Ali Mansour Jassim, Assistant Dean; Dr. Riyadh Abdul-Rasoul Haniwa, Head of the Pathology Department; Dr. Hussein Hadi Al-Awadi, Dean of the College of Engineering; Dr. Murtadha Ghanem Adai, Dean of the College of Nursing; and other professors. The delegation was warmly received, and the meeting included discussions about the significant advancements recently achieved in medical and legal education at the university, in accordance with the standards adopted by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Distinguished and outstanding individuals were honored with certificates of appreciation and awarded the Shield of Creativity and Excellence for their outstanding academic and scientific performance. The activities of the Iraqi-Iranian Science Week were launched in the presence of the Ministers of Higher Education and the Presidents of Universities, with Dr. Sabah Mohammed participating as a representative of the College of Medicine in the event.

The Iraqi-Iranian Science Week kicked off today in the holy city of Karbala, with the participation of the Iraqi Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and his Iranian counterpart, the Minister of Science, Research and Technology. Hosted by Al-Zahraa University for Women in the Umm Abiha Hall, the event saw wide participation from the presidents of Iraqi and Iranian universities, along with prominent academic and social figures, reflecting the importance of scientific cooperation between the two countries.
