The College of Medicine at Warith Al-Anbiya University (PBUH) was established in 2020, with the aim of preparing professional doctors who possess medical knowledge, communication skills, and ethical values derived from the vision of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain (AS), to be able to provide healthcare to the community with efficiency and dedication.

The College of Medicine aspires to be a leading educational institution in graduating professionally and ethically qualified doctors, who combine medical knowledge with high human values, and who place the health of society among their priorities.

Objectives
- Awarding a Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and General Surgery: Preparing doctors who have the ability to diagnose common and complex health problems and provide therapeutic solutions to reduce the spread of diseases.
- Instilling ethical and professional values: Instilling in students the values of integrity, sincerity and compassion in dealing with patients, deriving their curriculum from the biography of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
- Supporting and motivating graduate students: enhancing students’ abilities and skills to qualify them to continue their postgraduate studies and develop themselves through specialized training programs.
- Developing curricula and teaching methods: updating curricula and adopting innovative teaching methods that encourage interaction and student participation, thus achieving a deeper understanding of the academic subjects.
- Establishing a comprehensive health system: Building an integrated health system in cooperation with the Health and Medical Education Authority of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein, according to the standards of the Iraqi Ministry of Health and the directives of the World Health Organization, with a focus on developing scientific research.
- Developing communication skills with patients: Training students in listening skills, and understanding the health and psychological needs of patients through advanced clinical training during university studies.
