Volunteer work and community service are among the fixed contexts of the College of Medicine, Al-Warith University (PBUH), deans, professors and students on all sacred religious occasions, as they enlist themselves in medical detachments to serve the visitors of the pure Imams, peace and blessings be upon them. On the occasion of the martyrdom of Imam Al-Kadhim (PBUH) on the twenty-fifth of Rajab in the year 183 AH, the professors and students of the College of Medicine volunteered to serve the visitors of the Imam and provide them with diagnostic and therapeutic field medical services. It is no secret that Imam Musa al-Kadhim ibn Jaafar ibn Muhammad ibn Ali al-Hashemi al-Qurashi (7 Safar 128 AH - 25 Rajab 183 AH) is one of the scholars of Muslims, and the seventh Imam of the Twelver Shiites. His father, Imam Jaafar ibn Muhammad al-Sadiq, is one of the jurists of Islam. He spent part of his life in prison, and witnessed a sensitive period in the history of Muslims. His nickname is Abu Ibrahim and Abu al-Hasan, and among his titles are al-Kadhim, the righteous servant, the door of needs, and the master of Baghdad. He was called al-Kadhim because of the intensity of his anger and patience in the face of the injustice of the oppressors. We ask God Almighty to accept these voluntary works from them and to bestow acceptance and satisfaction upon the distinguished College of Medicine, and reward and recompense upon its professors and students, and continued progress and advancement in comprehensive health services.

The Deanship of the College of Medicine, Warith Al-Anbia University, is keen on the continuity of work according to the university calendar and the achievement of academic curricula and not delaying attendance. Lectures were implemented on the Saturday and Sunday holiday, corresponding to 24-25 / Rajab, through the FCC platform and according to the timings of the theoretical and practical lecture schedules. The attendance of students for all stages was approximately 80%. This comes based on the directives of the Presidency of Warith Al-Anbia University to adopt all available means for optimal performance, including digital platforms and electronic communication methods to implement academic programs and not delay work.

The Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein, in cooperation with the Medical City Administration, held a White Army gathering for the martyrs who were martyred in the Corona pandemic, in the hall of the late Dr. Muhammad Ali Al-Sharifi, may mercy and forgiveness be upon their pure souls. On this occasion, a group of heroes of the White Army who contributed to defeating the Corona aggression were honored, and among this group is ((Professor Dr. Riyad Abdul Rasoul Al-Haniwa), a lecturer specializing in chemistry at the College of Medicine / University of Warith Al-Anbia, as he was a supervising, following-up, treating and volunteering doctor to conduct the necessary examinations to challenge and repel this fierce enemy. Today, third-year medical students at Al-Warith University of Prophets completed their mid-term exam for the Parasitology course. The exam was meticulously organized and included a range of questions that tested students’ ability to analyze and deeply understand the material. The purpose of the exam is to enhance students’ skills in diagnosing and managing parasitic diseases, better preparing them to face challenges in this critical area of medicine.

The College of Medicine at the University of warith Al-Anbiyaa, in collaboration with the Operations Directorate at the Ministry of Health, hosted an Emergency Medicine Training Course from January 12 to 16, 2025. The course aimed to train medical graduates from Iraqi universities on how to manage emergency medical situations.
The course included specialized lectures delivered by a distinguished team of Emergency Medicine experts from the Operations Directorate, consisting of: • Dr. Fadhil Akla Binyan Al-Rubai • Dr. Nasrat Shaker Mohammed Hussein • Dr. Alaa Abdul-Rahman • Dr. Nawar Maaz
Under the supervision of Dr. Fadhil Akla Binyan Al-Rubai, Director of Emergency Operations and Medical Services, the course covered training sessions on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), the management of critical cases, and the responsibilities of residents in the emergency department. The course lasted for five days and included both theoretical lectures and practical workshops. On the final day, a written exam was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Fadhil Akla, where the participating doctors achieved excellent results, reflecting their proficiency and outstanding performance.
At the end of the course, the participants expressed their immense gratitude for the valuable content and training. They extended their heartfelt thanks to the supervisors and organizers for their efforts in ensuring the success of this important training initiative. They also expressed their deep appreciation to the Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Ali Abd Sadoun, for providing them with the invaluable opportunity to participate in this course.

Prof. Dr. Ali Abdul Saadoun Al-Ghazi, Dean of the College of Medicine, and Associate Professor Dr. Laith Mohammed Abbas, Scientific Assistant, held a meeting with the college staff to discuss the latest developments and follow up on the progress of work.

The College of Medicine Council at Warith Al-Anbia University (peace be upon him) held its regular session, headed by Professor Dr. Ali Abdul Saadoun, the respected Dean of the College, and attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Laith Muhammad, the Scientific Assistant, and Lecturer Dr. Anwar Sadiq, the Administrative Assistant, in addition to the respected heads of the branches.

Today, the activities of the Iraqi-Iranian Science Week kicked off in the holy Karbala Governorate, in the presence of the Iraqi Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and his Iranian counterpart, the Minister of Science, Research and Technology. The event, hosted by Al-Zahraa University (peace be upon her) for Girls in the (Umm Abiha) Hall, witnessed wide participation from the presidents of Iraqi and Iranian universities, in addition to prominent academic and social figures, reflecting the importance of scientific cooperation between the two countries.

Preparations included equipping classrooms and laboratories, in addition to updating the college's electronic platform to facilitate access to study schedules and scientific materials. The college called on students to adhere to study schedules and follow official announcements to ensure the smooth continuity of the educational process.
It is worth noting that the second semester includes a group of distinguished academic activities and scientific events, which aim to enhance students' skills and develop their experiences in various medical specialties.

Obstetrics and Gynecology (OSCE) was conducted for fourth-stage students. The exam was held in the presence and supervision of the esteemed Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Ali Abd Saadoun Al-Ghazi, and the esteemed Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Ali Mansour.
The event witnessed the participation of professors from the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (PBUH), the College of Medicine, the University of Karbala, the College of Medicine, and doctors from teaching hospitals. 

Internal medicine (OSCE) was conducted for fourth-stage students. The exam was held in the presence and supervision of the esteemed Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Ali Abd Saadoun Al-Ghazi, and the esteemed Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Ali Mansour.

Under the patronage of the President of the University, Professor Dr. Ibrahim Saeed Al-Hayawi, and in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Professor Dr. Ali Abd Saadoun Al-Ghazi, the Deanship of the Faculty of Medicine, in cooperation with the “Warith Elevate” team and the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance, launched the project (Preparation and Selection of University Medical Ambassadors), which aims to represent the university and the country, whether locally or internationally.
Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Musallam, Medical Education Officer at the College of Medicine, announced that after conducting interviews with a number of college students according to pre-defined criteria, which include leadership, communication, and teamwork skills, in addition to the professional and academic aspects, a number of students were chosen to be university ambassadors.
The Medical Education Officer clarified that this project, which the university adopted to improve students' academic performance as well as their leadership, mission, and professional skills, is the first of its kind at the national and university levels.
During the coronation ceremony, Professor Dr. Ibrahim Al-Hayawi stressed the importance of the students’ interest in obtaining education, as they are future doctors who bear a great responsibility before society, in addition to the importance of the leadership and professional aspects of the doctor.

The Deanship of the Faculty of Medicine, Warith Al-Anbiya University, peace be upon him, represented by the respected Dean, Professor Dr. Ali Abd Saadoun, honored both the employee (Hussein Majeed) and the employee (Younis Essam) for their efforts in conducting the end-of-course exams for first-year students, wishing them continued success in serving the students and the university.

As part of its efforts to obtain accreditation, the College of Medicine, and in the presence of the Dean, Professor Dr. Ali Abd Saadoun Al-Ghazi, holds a number of meetings with the Leading Committee for Accreditation to review the latest work with the subcommittees for accreditation.

Within the framework of cooperation, which includes twin formation, the professors of the Surgery Branch at the College of Medicine, University of Heir al-Anbiya, peace be upon him, participated with the Surgery Branch at the College of Medicine, University of Karbala, in taking the OSCE practical exam at the end of the course for students of the fourth stage of the Karbala College of Medicine in the subject of general surgery.

In the presence of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Ali Abd Saadoun Al-Ghazi. The College of Medicine at the University of Heir al-Anbiya (peace be upon him) hosted His Eminence Sheikh Zaman al-Hasnawi (may his success be long) to give an educational lecture to university students.

Within the Green University Environment Week, which was launched by the Presidency of Heir al-Anbiya University (peace be upon him).The College of Medicine held a scientific lecture for college students in which it hosted Dr. Ali Naqvi, a lecturer at the British University of Hull. And a cardiologist at the British Castle Hill HospitalTo present a scientific lecture entitled (hypertension: What is the New in 2024)Which addressed the latest developments in high blood pressure in 2024.

The respected Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Ali Abd Saadoun Al-Ghazi, and the Honorable Assistant Dean, Professor Dr. Ali Mansour, met with the committee of evaluation experts from the College of Medicine, University of Karbala, headed by the Dean of the College of Medicine, the respected Professor Dr. Riyad Dhihud, and the respected members of the committee.

The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Warith al-Anbiya (peace be upon him) received Professor Dr. Ali Abd Saadoun al-Ghazi, the respected Dr. Maad Nassif Jassim, a consultant to the British Royal College, where a presentation was made about the possibility of establishing a center for emergency and disaster medicine in cooperation with the British Royal College and opening channels of cooperation between the Royal British College and the University of Warith al-Anbiya.
