Emergency course to train graduates of the Faculty of Medicine from the teaching assistants of the University of Warith Al-Anbiya

The College of Medicine at the University of warith Al-Anbiyaa, in collaboration with the Operations Directorate at the Ministry of Health, hosted an Emergency Medicine Training Course from January 12 to 16, 2025. The course aimed to train medical graduates from Iraqi universities on how to manage emergency medical situations.

The course included specialized lectures delivered by a distinguished team of Emergency Medicine experts from the Operations Directorate, consisting of:
• Dr. Fadhil Akla Binyan Al-Rubai
• Dr. Nasrat Shaker Mohammed Hussein
• Dr. Alaa Abdul-Rahman
• Dr. Nawar Maaz

Under the supervision of Dr. Fadhil Akla Binyan Al-Rubai, Director of Emergency Operations and Medical Services, the course covered training sessions on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), the management of critical cases, and the responsibilities of residents in the emergency department. The course lasted for five days and included both theoretical lectures and practical workshops. On the final day, a written exam was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Fadhil Akla, where the participating doctors achieved excellent results, reflecting their proficiency and outstanding performance.

At the end of the course, the participants expressed their immense gratitude for the valuable content and training. They extended their heartfelt thanks to the supervisors and organizers for their efforts in ensuring the success of this important training initiative. They also expressed their deep appreciation to the Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Ali Abd Sadoun, for providing them with the invaluable opportunity to participate in this course.
