A meeting was held between the deanships of the College of Medicine at the University of Karbala and the University of Warith Al-Anbiya to discuss twinning agreements and enhance joint cooperation in the field of medical education. This meeting came within the framework of the two universities’ efforts to develop the educational process and improve the quality of medical training for students, through the exchange of academic and research experiences.

The meeting was attended by the Dean of the College of Medicine at the University of Karbala, Professor Dr. Khalid Al-Araji, and the Dean of the College of Medicine at the University of Warith Al-Anbiya, Professor Dr. Ali Abdul Saadoun, along with a number of professors and officials from the two colleges.

The meeting addressed several main topics, including:
• Activating twinning agreements between the two colleges to enhance cooperation in curricula and clinical training.
• Organizing academic exchange programs for faculty members and students.
• Holding joint scientific workshops and seminars aimed at developing medical and research skills.
• Supporting joint medical research that contributes to the development of health services in Iraq.

The two parties stressed the importance of this partnership in improving the quality of medical education and preparing qualified graduates with scientific and practical skills that meet the needs of society. It was also agreed to establish clear mechanisms to follow up on the implementation of the agreements, in a way that ensures the achievement of the desired goals of this cooperation.
