In its endeavour to achieve the greatest benefit for its students, the College of Engineering at the University of Warith Alanbiyaa held a summer training course for students of the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Imam Zain El Abidine Hospital. Dr. Shaimaa Hussein Nofal, the supervisor on this training summer, said:
Summer training of Biomedical Engineering Department was conducted at Imam Zain El Abidine Hospital due to the hospital's advanced medical equipment and under the supervision of a specialized staff, hence the students will be able to acquire the required information about the medical devices and how to deal to them. The College is continued dealing with the hospital in training their students annually in order to graduate students who are excellent at their speciality.
The supervisor on the training added that the students were distributed to the different departments of the hospital; in the department of Radiology, Medical Ultrasound, Computerized Axial Tomography (CAT), Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to be in a direct contact with the work of these devices. Although the summer training starts in the third stage, the university has made this training optional and the student has no financial consequences.
