The Scientific Affairs Department operates under the supervision of the esteemed Vice President for Scientific Affairs. It serves as the hub for the university's scientific outcomes, including research activities, patents, and other scientific achievements.

To become an incubator for outstanding scientific contributions, ensuring the university’s distinction in research and academics while providing a comprehensive central database of scientific information.

To design and implement scientific and research strategies that align with the university’s objectives and contribute to societal development.

  1. Enhance and strengthen the university’s research outputs, promote ethical research practices, and establish mechanisms to support high-quality research, with a focus on encouraging faculty to publish in reputable journals.
  2. Foster and support diverse scientific and intellectual activities while facilitating collaboration and partnerships with universities, research centers, governmental institutions, and cultural and scientific organizations.
  3. Organize activities in accordance with the guidelines and regulations issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research regarding scientific affairs.
  4. Develop creative scientific initiatives and document all scientific activities, including conferences, workshops, and seminars, ensuring follow-up on outcomes to maximize their impact.
  5. Update and refine academic curricula.
  6. Provide practical and scientific solutions to societal challenges.

  6. Organize the Warith National Award for Research Excellence.
  7. Track and support patent registration activities.
  8. Assist researchers in publishing in globally indexed journals.
  9. Manage agreements for collaboration and academic partnerships.
