The University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa received a delegation from the Ministerial Higher Committee for Intellectual and Cultural Affairs in Universities, headed by Professor Haider Al-Tamimi and formed by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The delegation met with Dr. Talal Al-Kamali, Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences and a member of the committee. The visit included a meeting with the Legal Custodian of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain, during which both sides discussed ways to enhance partnership between the Ministerial Committee, the Holy Shrine, and the university in cultural and scientific fields.

The discussions also addressed mechanisms for developing academic programs and implementing joint initiatives that serve students and the wider community. Emphasis was placed on the importance of strengthening the cultural and intellectual identity of Iraqi universities, recognizing its vital role in building a cohesive and prosperous society that supports the achievement of sustainable development.
