Imam Hussein Medical City hosted the public defense of a thesis by a student of the Arab Board of Histopathology.

The defense took place in the late Dr. Muhammad Ali Al-Sharifi Hall at Imam Hussein Medical City on Monday, December 29, 2025. The thesis was presented by Dr. Duaa Yass Khudair. The examining committee consisted of:

Dr. Muhammad Fawzi Abdul-Mahdi (Chair),
Dr. Haider Jabr Kahyoush (Member and Supervisor),
Dr. Riyadh Muhi Al-Saigh (Member), and
Dr. Ali Rahim Handhal (Member). This defense is a requirement for obtaining the Arab Board certification in Histopathology.
